Cabin is well known in the community for his dominance in leading armies, with a track record of success in almost every position he has served. In this edition of Memorable Moments, we approached Cabin to find out about his most fond memories in armies.
Cabin began his Club Penguin army journey in 2014, joining the Golden Troops in the original Club Penguin game. However, Cabin’s experience in GT was brief, as he only participated in a few events. Throughout Cabin’s army career, he’s been a part of various armies, ranging from major to small and medium-sized.
His first real army career started with the Light Troops in May 2015. This is where he experienced his first taste of war. He reached the rank of Fourth-in-Command within the Troops. However, he decided to leave to help revive the Blue Miners Army. During his time there, he was given the position of Second-in-Command. Cabin’s hard work in the army led to his induction as a Notable Troop on the Hall of Fame. However, the army decided to shut down in September, which led him to join the Dauntless Army of Club Penguin.
During Cabin’s time in the Dauntless Army of CP, he gained his first army leadership experience. The army frequently appeared in the weekly S/M top tens. While leading the army, Cabin and his friend, who created the Dauntless Army of CP, founded the Club Penguin Army Coffee Table. This amateur media organization recorded events within the army community at that time, both before and after Club Penguin’s closure.
After leading Dauntless Army, he decided to leave the army and enlist in the Night Rebels, holding the position as a moderator before reaching high-command. While in the Night Rebels, Cabin alternated between the Rebels and the Light Troops, once it reopened, as a moderator. He eventually left the army community completely in the spring of 2016.
After a two-year break from the community, Cabin enlisted in several armies from 2018 to 2020. These included the Rebel Penguin Federation, Army of Club Penguin, the Romans, and one of his most notable ones, the People’s Imperial Confederation. Cabin first joined PIC as a Fifth-in-Command. However, with his top-notch recruiting skills making him the army’s top recruiter, he quickly rose up the ranks. His consistent aid to the army also contributed to his promotion to Leader-in-Training. Just a few months after reaching LIT, Cabin’s hard work and motivation earned him the rank of President of the army’s advisory board. He also received Legend status. Cabin achieved Legend status in the army and less than two weeks later, he was promoted to the 21st Commander-in-Chief of PIC.
Later on, Cabin decided to retire from PIC in January 2022, but still continued to be on the advisory team. However, tension started occurring when Cabin was accused of troop stealing PIC member’s to his gaming server. Due to the backlash, Cabin ended up joining Templars as Third-in-Command.
TCP marked another significant milestone in Cabin’s army career. Swiftly climbing the ranks, his stellar performance as an HCOM led to his promotion to Leader in June 2022. During his time as a leader Cabin led several wars against armies a few including RPF, Lime Green Army, and Special Weapons and Tactics. In October 2022, Cabin’s rigorous leadership skills on the battlefield ensured Templars’ victory in Legends Cup XII, leading to his induction as a Templars Legend.
After winning LCXII, Cabin had decided to retire a month later from TCP and the army community. However, Cabin soon came back in January 2023 and decided to try starting up his own army naming it, Napalm Corps. Under Cabin’s sole leadership, the army frequently appeared on the Top Ten, regularly maxing above 10. Cabin’s main priority was maintaining alliances with notable armies, including ACP, SWAT, and PIC. NC joined the Sapphire Concordat alliance at the beginning of the Bloodbath Barrage war, a conflict between the Dark Vikings and the alliance, which ended in victory for the Sapphire Concordat.
During the beginning of World War IX, Cabin ended up retiring from his leadership position. Cabin had ended up appointing, Kyra, a loyal NC recruit, to take place. However, after Kyra abruptly departed Cabin had made the decision to merge the army into PIC. Then in August 2023, Cabin decided to rejoin PIC and aid the army in preparation for Beach Brawl III.
Despite rejoining PIC with little time to prepare for the upcoming tournament, he wasted no time getting straight to work. With his amazing recruiting skills and support, this helped boost the army massively. Subsequently, the army went on that very same week winning Beach Brawl III against SWAT and the Friendly Gamers under his leadership and guidance. After lifting his second trophy in his CPA career, Cabin departed from PIC. He had accomplished exactly what he intended to do. As a result, he was bestowed the highest honor and award in PIC, known as “Revolutionary,” which had only been given to two other recipients prior to him.
Today, Cabin serves as a Water Vikings Leader and was promoted to the position on December 2, 2023. Since his promotion within the Vikings, Cabin has become one of the army’s top recruiters. He has effectively brought in new troops and welcomed them to the Vikings. With Cabin’s assistance, the army has reached unprecedented heights, including the notable achievement of winning Christmas Chaos XII. Cabin’s success has earned him a place in the Greatest Leaders category in the Vikings’ Hall of Fame. His contributions have been pivotal in the Vikings’ success and growth.
Under Cabin’s leadership, another notable event that occurred after winning Christmas Chaos XII was the victory in March Madness IX. Most recently on April 26, the Clovers declared war on the Vikings. Although the Vikings had just emerged from a war with the Templars, they had barely any time to relax before quickly going back into war mode. Despite being unable to relax, the previous war against the Templars ending in a loss only fueled the Vikings’ determination to prove themselves to the community. The Vikings went on a winning streak in the Forlosning War against the Clovers, showing no signs of backing down. Driven by a strong ambition to prove their worth to the community, they ultimately won the war with a decisive score of 12-1-1.
Cabin is clearly an influential army leader within the community, which is why Club Penguin Armies decided to approach him for an exclusive interview.
Throughout all the times you’ve led, what would you say is your favorite war that you have been a part of?
From the wars that I have led, the Forlosning War—the recent conflict between the Water Vikings and the Army of Club Penguin—would have to be my favorite war of all-time. It was a historic war victory for the Water Vikings and I am very proud of the effort that went into it.
What were the most memorable events during your army career?
For me, some of the most memorable events of my army career thus far would be the creation of the Napalm Corps, winning Beach Brawl III, and being victorious against ACP in the Forlosning War.
Do you have any advice on leading or creating an army?
To successfully lead or create an army, you need to focus. You must do everything in your power to free yourself of distractions and not let your emotions get to you. You can only work your hardest when you are completely focused and the best armies are built off of hard work.
Who is someone from Club Penguin Armies that you look up to? Who made you the leader you are today?
Although I have not necessarily looked up to anyone in the community in a substantial amount of time, some individuals that made me the leader I am today include Shallissa, Xing, Dino, Aaronstone42, and Revan.
Throughout Cabin’s army career, he has been a part of a wide variety of armies lending his talents to help raise them up towards their goals. Without a doubt, Cabin has brought success to every army he has been part of, thanks to his incredible work ethic and perseverance when faced with challenges. Over the course of his career, Cabin has participated in numerous tournaments and wars. In these events, he has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead under pressure, always pouring every ounce of energy into winning. What do you think of Cabin’s career and success so far? Do you think Cabin will lead the Vikings to a third major tournament victory and conquer Legends Cup?
