Over the past year, many armies have formed, disbanded, merged, dissolved, and some have engaged in conflict. There have also been armies that have expanded tremendously, and others that have had tough times and periods of inactivity. Army leaders have been at the helm of affairs during such occurrences, directing and building the future of their armies.
To gain an additional understanding of the small/medium army classification and their engagements throughout the year, Club Penguin Armies contacted several leaders of various small/medium armies.

I think that if I knew it ahead of time, I probably would’ve pushed for more events, however there’s no certainty that it would’ve done anything. Users get burnt out, and losing interest is just something that is a part of our human nature. At the end of the day, we do our best to keep everyone interested and happy.

It was rather a challenge and more on planning at the start, the start was really getting friends that i’ve known for from different communities to jump start, afterwords it slowly grew and got more people in it, during the summer was a bit rocky due to summer blitz and how i lost my mind with the scheduling since i was mostly just a back up for leading events, but we were still be able to grow out and even get 20 for AUSIA at the time. We had a couple of breaks/ hiatuses since a lot of it was towards how the army was going and we had to fix it to stay up to our standards, in the time also improving behind
What do you think maybe would have gotten better if u knew it beforehand?
That is rather a good question. i feel like on the diplomacy side but Cobra has already given me details on how to do it properly, im more leaning towards like my perspective on what the army wants

We need more kids and young leaders in this community to experience how Club Penguin is, knowledge, feel, and retrospect of others, that is how i got into armies and club penguin in general, before that before the original shut down i failed to make an account in 2017 LOL Back in my rookie days in Rebel Penguin Federation, Army of CP, Fire Vikings, and other armies that i army hopped as a kid, i got on the train on CPRewritten from their rebuild and transition to html5. 12 year old me was invested into it because of its vibrant community mini games and achievements, which while CPR was developing in HTML5, they slowly grew back their community and trust. Armies back then had a lot more freedom by how CPRewritten managed their rules for armies, which later on made it more fair before their unfortunate shutdown. Nowadays, I feel like kids dont even try to achieve something, with the small medium scene, not even close. armies have to be together and work together whiles not doing stupid shit.
Fire Vikings
Fire Vikings commenced their involvement within the community on November 16, 2024. The army was established by YellowTyper. The Vikings emerged following the shutdown of the Secret Service, based on what remained of the army. Undoubtedly, FV has established itself as an exemplary army within the community, exhibiting continued growth.
The year began with the unexpected departure of Zujot from leadership following the Templars’ declaration of war. Soon afterward, YellowTyper announced his retirement, coinciding with Zujot’s return to leadership. After several months of inactivity, the army underwent significant changes with the induction of Klombe and Carly to leadership. Not long after, Fire Vikings formed an alliance with the Romans. The army later celebrated its first anniversary on November 16, 2025. However, just days later, on November 22, 2025, Fire Vikings announced its shutdown.
In the months that followed, Fire Vikings announced its revival on February 4, 2026, marking the commencement of the army’s third generation. They allied with Phoenix of Club Penguin, alongside announcing their Golden Age, with the merger of Tsunamis of Club Penguin and Phoenix of CP into them. Subsequently, Cyber was inducted into leadership. They also allied with the Templars, with Siri’s induction into leadership. In a surprising turn of events, Shadow Legionaries declared war on Fire Vikings, following controversies involving their leader Siri.
