BACKGROUND OF WAR
Following a staff and High Command meeting that ended in an unanimous 7–0 vote, the Shadow Legionnaires declared war on the Fire Vikings on April 10, 2026. The decision was largely influenced by concerns raised by leadership, especially Thunder222, regarding Cyber’s behavior after leaving the Dark Pirates. He was later observed army hopping and contributing to instability between multiple factions.
In the period leading up to the conflict, the Fire Vikings reportedly increased recruitment and activity within their “Temple of Fire.” Shadow Legionnaires leadership alleged that this included drawing members from other factions, including remnants of the Dark Pirates. At the same time, they stated that the Shadow Legionnaires had developed a more structured presence on the cparmies.org/map, which factored into their internal discussions.
A key incident referenced in the declaration involved Cyber’s interaction with the Dark Vikings. Cyber was seen claiming to be a former high command member and army veteran, but the founder Krosive reportedly found no evidence supporting these claims. Shortly after this exchange, Cyber left the server. The Shadow Legionnaires described this as part of a broader pattern of false identity claims and credibility concerns. The conflict was formally named Operation: No Fireplace, marking the beginning of the Shadow–Fire I War.
War Delays
On April 13, the Abyssal Tides of Club Penguin joined the conflict as a secondary faction. However, after discussions with Shadow Legionnaires leadership, they later announced a two-week truce with the group. The cause for this delay was worries regarding Club Penguin Army Judges handling of the war, such as inaction among Head Judges and judicial discrepancies. These topics were raised during conversations by both parties. At the time, only a few judges were active, which explained the slower pace of judicial proceedings and the resulting backlog in case handling during the war period.

Thunder222 announcement of ATCP joining the war.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to Thunder222 to ask him a few questions about the war and to gather a little bit more information.
What made you declare war on FV?
a lot of it was because of cyber’s doings and not going his way in Dark Pirates which is rather inmmature, which he became the main reason to revive it, and not to mention there has been more dropped this week from an ex egcp veteran
Why do you think ATCP joined the war?
why not, they did it randomly including them declaring war on WV too
Will the war continue or will both of your’ armies try to work it out?
it will conintue, the war is currently haulted on a specific date which we agreed, a lot of the problems came down to CPAJ mostly focusing on the TCPs wait with WV which is not going smoothly and already stirred them to talk about me and my past in armies ironically enough. CPAJ has a lot of problems which i can see little cracks forming while theyre nowadays the top reason how this community is going. Head judges are busy too
Thank you, anything to add before we finish the interview?
CPAJ should do something and hire new people up for the job
The dispute appears to be complex, with several factions and fluctuating alliances. Depending on how the situation unfolds, there is a possibility of eventual reconciliation between the adversaries. Do you think the war will continue, or will the armies eventually agree to halt hostilities?
