With the turn from April to May, Fire Vikings announced the addition of Nicoolas01 to the leadership. Nicoolas, with prior Club Penguin army experience, gladly took up the mantle, ready to lead Fire Vikings into a new era.
Nicoolas’ Ignition to Commander
On May 1, 2026, Cyber announced the promotion of Nicoolas01 to Fire Commander within the Fire Vikings. Cyber contacted Nicoolas about joining the Fire Vikings before April 11, hearing about Nicoolas’ exploits as a former leader of the Winged Hussars. Soon after, Nicoolas joined the Fire Vikings as a Leader-in-Training, with the hopes of making a grand return to the Club Penguin army scene. Only a day earlier, however, the Shadow Legionnaires declared war on the Vikings, throwing Nicoolas directly into a brand new conflict. However, due to issues with the Club Penguin Army Judges, the war came to a halt, leading FV to resume normal operations. Nicoolas led some battles during the war and earned a position in the Fire Vikings Hall of Fame as well. With this quick achievement, it wasn’t long until Cyber promoted him to Fire Commander.
Nicoolas’ Prior Journey
This promotion follows Nicoolas’ well-deserved army history, which first started in the Winged Hussars in November 2023. He joined WH initially as a troop while playing New Club Penguin, and decided to stick with them despite not fully understanding armies at the time. He grew in the ranks and stayed loyal to WH, eventually reaching their High Command ranks in late December. This led to his promotion to Monarch in WH in March 2024, and Emperor in August 2024. As HCOM and Monarch in WH, he led during the Christmas Crusade, notably against the Templars and People’s Imperial Confederation. Additionally, during his time as Emperor in WH, he led battles during less significant wars against the Secret Service and another against the Elite Guardians. With a relatively successful tenure in Winged Hussars, Nicoolas decided to retire, mostly due to his consideration of armies as a phase, without ruling out future opportunities. However, that is clearly not the end for Nicoolas as he returns to grow even more in armies.
Club Penguin Armies secured an exclusive interview with Nicoolas to find out more about his return to leadership in armies.
How did you get involved with the Fire Vikings?
I received a message from Cyber (leader of FV) asking me if I want to join his army because he knows how much of a leader I was back when I was in the Winged Hussars, he sent me a message and I got interested in joining CPA army again (I retired more than a year ago from CPA but I was thinking why not join the community again)
What led you to join the leadership?
When Cyber asked me I negotiated with him for a high role and not start as a regular member, I got the title of Leader in Training as beginning. Just after I joined FV and SL got into a war (less than a month ago)
Do you have any plans for Fire Vikings either in place or to be executed?
I personally wanna lead in a chill way, I know a lot on how to make an army great from Shinzo and past experiences so that allowed me to adapt quickly to FV’s current situation, I want to focus my energy and time in FV on the way of leading, I made guides and give tips and training on how to lead effectively, I also plan on giving a great accompaniment on newly recruited troops and make the army a great place to be/lead
What is your opinion of the Fire Vikings’ growth till now, and how do you plan to grow it even more?
FV’s growth is really good for this gen, they have a lot of potential and maxed out 20+ already on some events, though I can find some lacks of will of participation in events from the troops I think I want to focus more on that part. Making it a even better army is not my objective, my objective is to have fun but if I can do both at the same time that would make it even better
Do you have anything else to add?
I think I can make great changes in the community and this time stay a major army instead of approaching that status like I did in WH (we were major only 2 or 3 weeks back then)
Nicoolas’ previous unblemished leadership is sure to influence him dearly as he attempts to achieve greatness with the Fire Vikings. He truly wishes to make FV a place for all members within their community, allowing for everyone to have fun. His objective to have fun is sure to mesh well with a potential goal of growing FV as well. What do you think Nicoolas will achieve in this Fire Vikings generation? Will this leadership bring Fire Vikings to the coveted position of major army status?
