Meet the Judges: October Horrors II Major Battle

This weekend, October Horrors II is set to take place, and all eyes will be on the Major division battle. As this is the first tournament judged by the Army Judging Board, we decided to recap the judges’ army history.

Designed by Wynn

The inaugural October Horrors tournament was regarded as a firm favourite last year. Due to this positive reception from the community, Club Penguin Armies had no choice but to return it for a second year. This year’s Major Division sees a three-way battle between the Army of Club Penguin, the Help Force, and the Water Vikings. Due to this irregular nature of the battle, it makes the tournament especially hard to judge. Whilst the Army Judging Board is a newly formed organisation, the faces behind it certainly are not. As such, there is no doubt that the standard of judging for the tournament will be impeccable.

GreenVege

Despite joining the army community only one year ago, GreenVege has already made a large impact. First joining the Shadow Legionnaires in October 2025, he quickly rose to the position of leader. Vege’s time as leader was rather eventful, with SL declaring war on the Fire Vikings on April 10, only 6 days after his promotion to leader. Following the war’s outbreak, the Abyssal Tides joined in, assisting FV; however, the Legionnaires quickly invaded AT’s capital, forcing them to exit the war.

Under GreenVege, the Legionnaires also competed in the CPA20 Challengers Cup, making it to the Grand Finals, where they lost to the Masked Bandits. Shortly after, they engaged in a war with the MB, which they won due to the Bandits violating a war term, leading to their merging into the SL. However, all good things must come to an end, as was the case with Vege’s time as leader, with him stepping down from his role on October 6, whilst remaining enlisted in the army.

Concerning his civic engagements, Vege is a notable figure due to his former affiliation with Club Penguin Armies Judges. Here, he served as a Deputy Head Judge, being promoted alongside xDemon on September 23. Following Club Penguin Armies’ dissolution of their partnership with CPAJ, GreenVege moved on to their successor, the Army Judging Board, wherein he serves as a Head Judge, and will be judging the OH II Major Division battle.

Yellow Typer

Moving on to the first of the Associate Judges, we have Yellow Typer. Yellow Typer is a well-known figure in the army community, first joining in October 2024. Yellow’s first army was the Secret Service, and following the mass exodus from the SS after the leaders revived the historic Doritos, Typer was set on keeping the Service alive; however, he was denied permission to do so. As such, he joined the DCP before shortly leaving for the People’s Imperial Confederation.

Feeling disgruntled with other armies, Yellow Typer decided it would be best for him to found his own. This led to the creation of the Fire Vikings, an army which has made a name for itself in the Small/Medium scene over the past two years. During his time as leader, Typer has guided the Vikings through wars, alliances, an unfortunate closure, their first anniversary, and their revival. Having familiarity with judging, Yellow Typer was a long-time judge with CPAJ, and with the creation of the AJB, he continued in this role.

Lady Eden

Lady Eden is perhaps one of the community’s most seasoned veterans. Her journey began in 2009, when she joined the Nachos; however, her time there was short-lived. She returned to the community from 2012 to 2014, becoming a member of the Rebel Penguin Federation. Shortly before the closure of Club Penguin, Eden would return to the Rebels. It is here that she would work her way up to a moderator position, before leaving the community in 2020 following internal drama.

After a three-year break, Lady Eden returned to the community, meeting Shinzō on New Club Penguin. After much discussion, they decided to revive the Winged Hussars. Eden led the Hussars through a war against PIC, surrendering the war despite having more battle wins. Following this, Eden would go on to resign from WH and eventually join the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin. After EGCP’s closure and return, Eden too would return to lead the army. However, this stint of leadership would be her last, as she would quietly leave.

Outside of armies, Eden has also held several roles in Club Penguin Armies. Her many roles include being a former member of the reporting department, a former community committee member, and notably, a former Social Media Head. In addition to her positions with CPA, Lady Eden has also served tirelessly as a judge for both CPAJ and, now, the Army Judging Board.

Pranav

Pranav was first introduced to armies on March 28, 2020, being recruited into the Ice Warriors. After the Ice Warriors, he became a Leader-in-Training of the Janitors, and then moved on again to the Skateboarders. Once again, Pranav would change armies, enlisting in the Dark Champions as Second in Command. Alongside this, he has held positions in the Elites, Fire Warriors, Trojans, and the Templars. As of recent, Pranav has returned to the community in 2026, spending time in the Dark Warriors before rejoining the Fire Warriors.

Outside of armies, Pranav has served as a former Managing Editor for Club Penguin Armies, and previously as Editor-in-Chief for Club Penguin Army Headquarters. He recently returned to the reporting department, serving as a Senior Reporter at present. In addition, he also serves as a Moderator for the Club Penguin Armies Discord. Lastly, concerning judging, Pranav served as a Judge prior to 2022 and returned to this position within CPAJ this year. Following the Army Judging Board’s creation, he would go on to serve there also.

Ultimately, we can see that the Judges for the upcoming October Horrors tournament are perfect for the role. With combined army experience spanning decades and years of judging experience behind them, we can be assured they will do a good job. The only variable remaining is the competing armies themselves. But what do you think? Who will emerge victorious out of the three armies? Which side will take home the trophy?
