GreenVege’s name has been widely discussed in the community for the past few weeks. In this post, we will look at his most recent decision to step down from his leadership position in the Shadow Legionaries.

GreenVege’s History in the Army Community
Shadow Legionaries Tenure
GreenVege joined the community in October 2025. His starting army was the Shadow Legionnaires, in which he has been ever since. He managed to rise through the ranks quickly, earning Higher Command and then officially joining the leadership on April 4. SL’s creator and leader, Thunder222, announced the promotion, hoping that he would improve the army’s AUSIA division. With that, GreenVege became the third-ever SL leader.
GreenVege’s tenure was very eventful. On April 10, SL declared war on the Fire Vikings. The Abyssal Tides also joined the war a few days later, as enemies of SL. SL managed to defeat AT quickly, invading their capital in the days following the declaration. The war with FV was temporarily halted as both armies had complaints regarding how the Club Penguin Army Judges organisation handled their battles. After the war continued, SL managed to emerge victorious once again.
From a recent practice battle versus the Dark Warriors
More recently, the Shadow Legionaries managed to reach the CPA20 Challengers Cup Grand Finals where they lost against the Masked Bandits. The battle was a close one, with MB winning two rooms and tying one. It was also intense, given the drama that had unfolded beforehand. The drama continued after the battle, with SL eventually declaring war on MB, right after the latter ended their war with the Pizzaiolis of Club Penguin. The war did not last long, as the Masked Bandits violated the war terms and surrendered as well, with their merger following. Thus, SL managed to come out victorious with plenty of land.
Civic Tenure
Aside from his leadership position in SL, GreenVege is also active in the general community. Most notably, he was promoted to Deputy Head Judge on September 23, alongside xDemon. During his time there, he was very active, greatly contributing to the organisation’s activity. When the community moved on from CPAJ to the Army Judging Board, he also followed and became a Head Judge there.
The End of GreenVege’s Leadership Era
On October 6, GreenVege decided to step down from his leadership position in SL. He made a short announcement letting the server members know that he is no longer part of the leadership. Instead, he is stepping down to the Marshal position, remaining in the army. This means that the army’s leadership is now made up of Thunder222 and Yuiii.

What made you decide to step down?
I decided to step down mainly because I wanted to focus more on my role as HJ, while still being able to contribute to my army significantly. Another reason would be that I wanted to avoid the perception of a conflict of interest and make sure people could trust that I approach judging as fairly and impartially as possible.
What was your favorite moment as an SL leader?
Waking up at 3–4 AM to lead US invasions during SL’s war with FV.
Do you believe that one day you may become a leader again? (either in SL or another army)

From the interview section, it seems that GreenVege has decided to put more focus on the organisational part of the community rather than the army one, at least for now. Do you believe GreenVege’s move will help AJB establish itself even better? Will this sudden decision cause a gap inside the SL structure? Only time will tell.
