On the first weekend of June, the army community witnessed the reopening of the historical Magma Clan. After five years since its first sighting, the army is returning for a fifth generation. The longevity of this generation remains uncertain, and we try to clear the air.

Magma Clan reopened on Saturday, June 6, under the leadership of unknown, Nitro, Israel, Lukey, AB, and zujot. At the army’s reopening event, the army maxed 14, kicking off their new generation. Previously, the army reopened in December 2025, but the generation was short-lived. In addition, this reopening is being witnessed soon after one of the army’s present leaders, AB, defaced the Shadow Legionnaires. Moreover, the reopening was brought to light during the Around the World Cup II tournament.

The army’s new Discord server was created on May 29, with plenty of channels now in place. It is worth noting that prominent army figures like KiItanon and Ivy have been members of the Clan.

The Five-Year History
Historically, the Magma Clan was founded on May 8, 2021, by Lukey and Darklink, who had departed the Templars at that time. When they began, they consistently acquired sizes of around 10, suggesting steady growth. So far, the Clan has fought wars against the Templars, the Ice Warriors, and the Penguins of Madagascar. Their first generation survived through just one war against the Templars they lost, after which they announced their first closure.

The Magma Clan had reopened for a second generation in June 2022, subsequently declaring war against the Mercs of Club Penguin. In March 2023, the Clan reopened for a third generation following an announcement posted a month prior. Subsequently, they declared war against their old rival POM, and the army soon emerged victorious due to a breach of war terms. Their third generation was not a permanent one, either. Furthermore, the Clan was set to reopen once more for a fourth generation in December 2025. A month before, KiItanon had hinted at this potential third generation. However, the revival featured a series of unserious events where they would max 2 penguins during the winter holidays. This generation quietly concluded later, after plotting a war against the Kanye West Army.

Lastly, Club Penguin Armies reached out to MC leaders AB and Nitro for a brief interview regarding the army’s reopening and its future involvement in the army community.
What motivated your team of leaders to reopen Magma Clan?
AB: Welll we was gnna have SL be a major but ofccc some people had to be bums and we couldn’t so yea, and ppl who actually support me n stuff came with me, to revive any army didnt matter which icl.
Nitro: it started with me and ab I’m good friends with ab and we decided to reopen MC. Wat motivated us the most was that we wanted to prove to people that we can do something. That we had the capability to make a small once known army known again we don’t just want to be a mid army we aim to be one of the best. We worked together to earn the rights to say we gained the process from wat we started at to now.
Where do you see your army a month from now?
AB: I see magma clan in legends cup, locking in and dominating rn we taking things slow tryna get everyone and everything to settle down, make sure everyone is comfortable and happy.
Nitro: in a month’s time? I’d say somewhere between 300-400 members, as it is we are still developing as a team of staff/hcom and leaders. There’s still a lot to improve but in a month hopefully and by the help of our staff team and hcoms we’d reach our goal of at least being at a member count of 300.
If your army were at war soon after its reopening, how would you react? Do you expect one at all?
AB: I rlly wont be surprised if we got warred I do expect one from SL lmao, my reaction wouldn’t be surprising it’d more so get me hyped, magma clan is ready for anything.
Nitro: wouldn’t be surprised that’s for sure, regardless of the pressure I’d still motivate and push the staff/hcoms to work along side us to push good max, recruits, registers etc. and yes I’d expect a army to war us I have one in mind but I don’t wanna go that far into it but if not I myself want to earn the status of people wanting to war us.
Can the army community expect your army to participate in a future tournament, such as the upcoming Legends Cup XIV?
AB: Yes magma clan will be participating in tournaments and will be giving its all at them.
Nitro: yes for sure, although we are still developing, I believe we are able to still participate and the Legends cup XIV that’s still being decided but I’m positive we will be
Is there anything else you would like to add?
AB: join magma clan
Nitro: not really but, I’m doing whatever it takes to make MC one of the best- and to prove myself and become known in the CPA community. We may be a part of the new gen but we plan on leaving a mark.
In conclusion, it seems like Magma Clan is about to see another one of their generations. It is worth noting that the army is willing to participate in tournaments to make a difference, which will help gain the community more competitiveness. Importantly, their success depends on the efforts raised by their leadership and their troops. At the moment, there is no certainty whether the Clan’s newest generation will be long-lasting or remain just another short-lived tale.
