ARMY HISTORY
Founded by Thunder222 on May 3, 2025, the Shadow Legionnaires became a prominent army in the Small/Medium Army Community. Since their founding, they have participated in many tournaments and wars. After a war against Void Troops, SL joined The White Order’s war against the Rebel Penguin Federation in September 2025, which ended in a 9-0-0 defeat. The army entered its first hiatus on September 30, 2025, but returned for its second generation on October 7. In 2026, SL allied with the Special Weapons and Tactics and later won the S/M division of March Madness XI, earning its first tournament trophy.
The Legionnaires later declared war on the Fire Vikings, eventually forcing them to surrender. In May, they faced a major setback when their server was defaced amid allegations involving their recently appointed leader, AB. Despite this, SL rebuilt and won the S/M division of Around the World Cup III. They then reached the CPA20 Challengers Cup Grand Final, where the Masked Bandits defeated them. In September, SL declared war on the Masked Bandits in Operation Shik, but the two armies reached a force treaty less than five hours later, which resulted in a victory for the Legionnaires. The Legionnaires eventually entered their second-generation hiatus on October 11, 2026, after struggling with staff inactivity, burnout, and leadership commitments.
THE REVIVAL
Shadow Legionnaires leader Thunder222 confirmed that the army would begin its third generation after a nine-day hiatus, returning earlier than the initially planned three weeks. He explained that the break allowed the leadership to recover from burnout and reconsider the army’s direction after struggling with inactivity and a lack of preparation in September. The army now hopes to build on its previous success. Further, he also stated that he may step away from active leadership by 2027, leaving the current leadership team to guide the army through its next chapter.
Announcement of Third Generation
On October 27, SL hosted their revival event, reaching a max of 16 troops. The army also announced its participation in the October Horrors II Tournament. In this tournament, the army reached the final round but was defeated by the Fire Vikings.

Will the army fulfil what its leaders have said in the interview?
