June has finally come to a close, leading us to the first edition of Monthly Map Updates. This month was relatively quiet with limited activity, but the small/medium army community managed to bring some news to the platter.

Welcome to the first publication of Club Penguin Armies‘ first-ever map update series. On June 21, Editor-in-Chief Fun X Time announced several changes to the posts brought by the Media Department. One of these changes include the introduction of Monthly Map Updates, where we highlight what happened in the past month in a nutshell. Moreover, this June, the community spent the summer month through certain activities, including Pride-themed events. In addition, the organization held its own Pride Parade as well.

The month began with the ending of the Around the World Cup III tournament, when the Army of Club Penguin defeated the Templars, winning the major trophy. On the same day for the same tournament, the Shadow Legionnaires claimed their first victory in any CPA tournament, winning the small/medium trophy. Around this time, the organization announced its plans for the summer, where they first featured the most prestigious tournament of the year, the Legends Cup XVI.
Halfway into the month, CPA Battleground implemented the CPA map on their server selection screen, inviting mixed reactions from the community. Throughout the month, the weekly Top Tens saw ACP place first consistently, with the Rebel Penguin Federation occupying second. Additionally, the Water Vikings and the Templars apparently took turns for the third position. Before the month ended, more information on LCXVI finally came into light on June 27.

Finally, let us explore what happened throughout June 2026 on the army map. In a nutshell, we will go through each event concisely.
What happened in JUNE 2026?
June 1, 2026
The Abyssal Tides of Club Penguin changed their capital to Jackhammer.
The same army completed a transfer of their former capital, Fjord, to the SnowWalkers of Club Penguin.
The SnowWalkers spontaneously declared an off-map war against the one-day-old Steam Empire. The war was titled, Operation: Hot Sauce. In the war declaration, SWCP leader Tornmyfavourite quoted, “The snow shall rise.”
The SnowWalkers were subsequently joined by the Abyssal Tides, the Pizzaioli of Club Penguin, the XBOX Republic, and the Imposters of Club Penguin, resulting in a five-versus-one war.
The war abruptly ended once the Steam Empire decided to cease its operations. StE leader Yolsie switched sides and joined forces with the Pizzaioli immediately.

June 2, 2026
The Fire Vikings scheduled a freeland invasion on Northern Lights for June 3, 3:00 PM EST.
June 3, 2026
The invasion of Northern Lights was expected to take place; however, due to no officiating of the invasion taking place in Club Penguin Army Judges, the invasion was cancelled.
June 7, 2026
All armies received their weekly income based on their servers and capitals.
June 8, 2026
The Pizzaioli used a plane to schedule a freeland invasion of Slushy, for June 9, 3:00 PM EST.
June 9, 2026
The freeland invasion of Slushy did not take place, and was rescheduled for June 10, 2:30 PM EST.
June 10, 2026
The freeland invasion of Slushy was unsuccessful as the Pizzaioli failed to show up.
June 12, 2026
The SnowWalkers transferred all of their territories to the Fire Vikings and merged with the latter.

June 18, 2026
The Dark Warriors scheduled a freeland invasion of Belly Slide for June 19, 10:00 AM EST, making the first and only map action from a major army in June.
June 19, 2026
Unexpectedly, Dark Warriors’ freeland invasion of Belly Slide scheduled for this day was cancelled.
The Fire Vikings scheduled a freeland invasion of Yeti for June 22, 3:00 PM EST.
June 21, 2026
All armies received their weekly income based on their servers and capitals.
June 22, 2026
Fire Vikings’ invasion of Yeti was expected to take place; however, due to no officiating of the invasion taking place in Club Penguin Army Judges, the invasion was cancelled.
June 23, 2026
The Zenith Order scheduled a freeland invasion on Thermal for June 27, 8:00 PM EST.
June 27, 2026
Unexpectedly, Zenith Order’s freeland invasion of Thermal scheduled for this day was cancelled.
June 28, 2026
Lastly, all armies received their weekly income based on their servers and capitals once more.
Map’s Current State
The Club Penguin Armies map as on June 30
- Currently, armies control 71 territories across the map.
- Both, the Shadow Legionnaires and the Water Vikings, are holding the most number of territories — 17 servers each.
- In addition, the Army of Club Penguin holds the second-highest number of territories — 10 servers in total.

Overall, this month the Club Penguin Armies map saw mediocre activity with minimal major army involvement. However, as previously seen multiple times, a small spark coming in the form of a conflict between two armies is what is needed to reignite the activity of the map once again.
