Steam Empire’s Rise and Fall: Opened, Besieged, Gone

A newly opened army faced four war declarations immediately after its opening. In this post, we will explore the rise and fall of the Steam Empire and uncover the mystery of what happened.

On May 31, 2026, Yolsie founded the Steam Empire along with their co-leader Xudo, following an opening event, where they maxed 5 troops. In addition to their opening, the Administration declared that “StE” would be their official abbreviation instead of “SE,” to prevent confusion with the historical Silver Empire.

Subsequently, the newfound army faced five consecutive declarations of war from small/medium armies. The declaring armies include the SnowWalkers of Club Penguin, the Abyssal Tides of Club Penguin, the Pizzaioli of Club Penguin, the XBOX Republic, and the Imposters of Club Penguin. As a result, it was a tough time for the Empire, considering its minimal longevity.

Following these unexpected declarations of war, Yols finally closed the newfound army shut. In addition, the army’s Discord server appears to have been deleted. Consequently, the wars automatically end with no battle or treaty taking place.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to Yolsie to understand what happened during these times.

What motivated you to open Steam Empire?

Yolsie: Well, Xudo (the original creator) asked me to help with making the army and server.
I like to help people and said sure. Then he asked me if I wanted to be co-leader, and I said okay and worked on the server with him.
And after a week or something, we opened. And then, yeah, closed.

What was your reaction when armies started declaring invasions after the opening?

Yolsie: Well, I was just coming home from school and saw that 5 armies declared war on us. Of course, I knew it had something to do with Xudo, so I wanted to know what happened. I asked Klombe and saw what Xudo did. I didn’t want anything to do with that and wanted to leave. I told Klombe that I was gonna leave, and he proposed that I could be the Pizzaioli leader. So I left the Steam Empire server and then became a leader in Pizzaioli. And then Xudo saw and deleted the Steam Empire server.

Do you believe that your army can reopen in the future? If yes, under what conditions?

Yolsie: Yes, I was planning. On doing that, I don’t want it to go to waste. I wanna try to forget what happened before and wanna make it an army that everyone can love and like! I always like to help people! And don’t wanna be hated. So, the condition is that I can help people and that Steam Empire and I can be loved!

What are you planning for your personal future in the army community?

Yolsie: Well, I don’t wanna leave. It’s way too fun to just go. So I will stay in CPA for a while! It’s not that I wanna make a huge impact, I just wanna be here, nothing more really. And make more friends, that’s how I got here.

Notably, an army is not defined by its size but by its ability to maintain a structure and work to advance in different ways. What are your thoughts on the Empire? Do you think they could ever return stronger than ever?
