Businessmen of Club Penguin Close Their Briefcase

The Businessmen of Club Penguin have unexpectedly closed their doors. In this post, we will uncover why the Businessmen have shut down and dig into their future plans.

BUSINESSMEN’S HISTORY

The Businessmen of Club Penguin were founded on April 30, 2026, by Mythrix and Fruit Salad. Since their opening, the army has gone through multiple internal changes, as well as warring against the Shadow Legionnaires, which would quickly lead to a Peace Treaty.

The Businessmen would go into a short hiatus on May 4, after which Mythrix would later return to the army and rebrand as Rookie Gang. This would be short-lived, as the name would change back, and the army would push into a hiatus once more on May 16.

THE SHUTDOWN

On May 27, army leader Mythrix posted to the Businessmen announcements channel, with a statement claiming the army would go into immediate shutdown, as well as merging into the SnowWalkers, due to his ban from the Club Penguin Armies discord server.

SNOWWALKERS HISTORY

The SnowWalkers first opened their doors to the community on May 7, having been created by Torn and Peterpleco.  In addition, they were fairly new to the community. Furthermore, the two armies had a history together, where the Businessmen would form multiple alliances to war against the SnowWalkers.

The two armies would later ally on May 24, where, not even three days later, the Businessmen would shut down and announce their merge into the SnowWalkers.

Merging Announcement from SnowWalkers leader Torn

Club Penguin Armies reached out to both Mythrix and Torn to discuss the merge in an interview, but only Torn would respond to our messages.

What was one of the army’s main reasons for merging the Businessmen into the SnowWalkers?

Mythrix being banned

Over this past month, how have the members moving from BOCP adjusted to the changes?

There were no members anymore so N/A lol

Would you say that activity has increased since the merge?

No

Do you have any last statements or comments for the community to conclude the interview?

The merge was stupid

With the conclusion from the interview, it is clear from the SnowWalkers’ perspective that the merge was not necessary for them as an army. Despite this, Club Penguin Armies wishes the SnowWalkers the best in their future endeavors in the community. Do you think the Businessmen will make a comeback in the near future? Will the SnowWalkers be able to move past the unsuccessful merge?
