The Businessmen of Club Penguin have officially declared war on the Shadow Legionnaires. In this post, we will dig into the reasoning behind the declaration, as well as an interview between leaders of both armies on their insight of the war.

The Businessmen of Club Penguin opened their doors to the public on April 30, being founded by both Mythrix and Fruit Salad. Since then, the army has held a few invasion events on freeland, as well as forming alliances with multiple armies to strengthen themselves.
A Recent BOCP Event
The Businessmen of Club Penguin held an invasion event on May 12 for the freeland server, Half Pipe. At some point of the Invasion, the Shadow Legionnaires logged on the same server, with plans to invade the army’s battle. The Businessmen would lose the freeland regardless due to them not reaching the minimum requirement of those logged on.

Only a couple of minutes after the invasion was deemed unsuccessful, BOCP leader Mythrix would announce to the server that the army would be going to war with the Shadow Legionnaires due to the army invading their freeland event.

AB’S INTERVIEW
What was the reasoning behind your raid on the Businessmen’s Invasion?
So we had an event and we saw BOCP logging on for hide n seek on our server that we were on, we didn’t mind it at first after our event finished I saw that they had an invasion on half pipe, so I check BOCP and fruit says “I promise you SL will raid us” “if they do I’m declaring war” (idk if it was that word for word) so I found that funny and actually did raid them
Do you believe this war will have any benefits for the army?
This war won’t have any benefits as it is off map and BOCP don’t even max a lot (no diss) but SL would easily dominate the war
Does the Shadow Legionnaires plan on using this war as a way to prepare themselves for more battles against other armies?
No we do not, as these guys are just a little 2 man army, armies that max around our size are armies we would use to prepare for other battles

What was the reasoning behind the war?
AB gathered the members of SL to raid our event causing us to not get Half Pipe
Were the Businessmen planning on declaring war on the Shadow Legionnaire despite the invasion?
I never liked SL, especially because of the recent AB drama. I wasn’t gonna go to war until they invaded me for 0 reason
Do you believe this war will benefit your army in anyway?
Yes it’ll show them what war is like since most of them are new

Is that a threat? If not, then FUCK YOU AB I HATE YOU
However, though, before the army’s first war battle took place, Shadow Legionnaires had couped and banned former leader AB, which led to the army being defaced that same night.
Due to the ongoing investigation taking place from the Shadow Legionnaires regarding AB’s coup and defacement, both armies later agreed to a force treaty, with no war taking place at all.
War Treaty Between SL and BOCP
With no battles taking place during the declaration, the war was deemed a tie. Although this may not be the end for both armies, where maybe they’ll start it back off another day to finish their plans off, or both armies will extend to other war ideas for other armies. Do you think Shadow Legionnaires will recover from their coup and defacement? Will there be another war between these two armies in the near future?
