Top 5 Moments of April 2026

April was a more active month compared to the past few ones. Even though there were no tournaments, we saw a number of conflicts between a variety of armies, keeping the war spirit of the community alive.

In the same way as the previous months, the Club Penguin Armies community came together and voted on their Top 5 Moments for April, via polls in the Discord server. There were considerably more moments compared to March, a total of 27, an increase of 11. This shows that April was the second most active month of the year, with warfare finally coming back once again.

#5 – Templars and Aliens Become Allies

Written by Managing Editor: VESTA

A new, powerful alliance has been created in the league. On April 12, the Templars and Aliens announced their friendship, which should mean great things for both of them. As two Major armies that are very experienced within the community, their combined operations are definitely one to keep an eye out for. This development came out after the two armies held a practice battle against each other.

On April 22, 2026, the Club Penguin Armies administration inducted Beasto, DF44, DMT, Mare, Orange, and Zooy into its Memorable Members list. MM is CPA’s Hall of Fame-style recognition created in 2024 to honor individuals with lasting contributions to the league. The inductees were recognized for their impact across multiple areas of the organization, including media production, map development, administration, advising, moderation, graphics, and community events. Their work included projects such as CPA’s modern map system, Klondike After Hours, the CPA Summer Olympics 2025, long-term administrative leadership, and years of advisory support that helped shape the league’s structure and community over time.

#3 – Coolguy Retires from Dark Warriors

Written by Reporter: Mary

In April 2026, long-time Dark Warriors leader Coolguy announced his retirement from the CPA community. Coolguy spent several years in the army community, contributing through different eras and serving in multiple leadership roles along the way. During his time in the Dark Warriors, he helped lead the army through many periods of activity and growth. Although his resignation from DW leadership came unexpectedly and was surrounded by some controversy, Coolguy leaves behind a lasting impact on the Dark Warriors and the CPA community.

#2 – The Major War of Tundropa Heresy

Written by Managing Editor: Pranav

Less than five minutes after the Club Penguin Armies administration reinstated the enforcement of the 1v1 rule, the Templars declared war on the Water Vikings. This declaration began the War of Tundropa Heresy, which would go on for eight more days, reviving the map. The Templars, coming off a victory in a practice battle against the Aliens the previous weekend, were confident going into the war. However, the Water Vikings came in with larger sizes throughout, while the Templars eventually left the CPA map with a statement. This win bolstered the Water Vikings’ standings and led to a boost in their size recently. Meanwhile, the Templars, before they fully removed themselves from the map, decided to bomb the Rebel Penguin Federation’s capital of Tuxedo.

#1 – ACP Begins a Raid War Against TCP

Written by Reporter: Lydia

On April 28th, the Army of Club Penguin launched a series of raids on Club Penguin Journey against the Templars of Club Penguin. This followed shortly after the Templars surrendered the war against the Water Vikings. This shifted tides in the community, as this was the first time a war broke out on Club Penguin Journey. The Army of CP also reintroduced the act of “patrols” on CPJ to find any Templars attempting to hold events or recruit, and to reward the troops who found any sign of Templars.

From the first ACP raid against TCP

With the first third of the year already over, we hope that the community’s activity will remain high in May. The raid war between ACP and TCP is still active, so that will be interesting to witness. At the same time, there are two tournaments approaching, which are expected to shake the community as well. Which event do you think will get the first spot in May? What is your opinion about the events of April? Did you believe a different moment would end up in the Top 5?
