Club Penguin Army Judges — the community’s premier judging organization — announced a new team of Head Judges. This comes at a time when the number of Head Judges is inadequate. In this post, we will learn about the individuals who are filling in the gaps.

On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, Head Judge Spotty promoted Moon from the position of Deputy Head Judge to Head Judge at Club Penguin Army Judges. On top of that, CPAJ introduced GreenVege and xdemon to the pool of Deputy Head Judges. This development comes shortly after former Deputy Head Judge Sweater‘s controversial removal from the same institution on August 29. More recently, former Head Judge T_T left CPAJ on September 22. Therefore, a shortage in CPAJ’s leadership had been observed.

Club Penguin Army Judges has been a Club Penguin Armies partner since July 2022, the dawn of CPA. The new promotions follow a recent incident where Boxmen of Boxland leader PingoBoiii reported a lapse in the Head Judges’ swift functionality. As a result of this lapse, the first battle of the ongoing war between the Boxmen and the Help Force had to be postponed. Additionally, the CPA Administration ended up judging another recent invasion. The new seniority at CPAJ may be able to resolve these problems.
Meet the Judges
Moon and xdemon have been unaffiliated for some months, while GreenVege is currently affiliated with the Shadow Legionnaires as an army leader. At CPAJ, the affiliation of Head Judges and Deputy Head Judges holds significance, and the organization is well-informed and highly transparent about judges’ affiliation status. Presently, Moon is also a Top Ten Committee Head at CPA, alongside Ella.

Earlier this year, on May 15, Moon was promoted to Deputy Head Judge after spending three years as a Judge. Two years before that, in 2021, Moon first stepped into the army community when she enlisted with the Secret Service. By December of the same year, she found herself in the Templars. In March 2023, Moon finally reached Templars’ leadership. Later, on May 27, 2023, she finally received the chance to become a Judge-in-Training at CPAJ. In June 2024, she resigned from her army’s leadership. However, she returned to the same position for a short period in October, until she closed her chapter with the Templars on October 25. Throughout her time in the Templars, she led battles against armies such as the Rebel Penguin Federation, the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin, and the Water Vikings, boasting her experience as a battle commander.

Deputy Head Judge GreenVege
On the other hand, GreenVege began his tenure at CPAJ when he joined as a Judge-in-Training on February 16, 2026. In his application, he described himself as a “very curious learner” and wanted to “gain experience.” He stepped into the army community the year before, in October 2025, when he joined the Shadow Legionnaires. Since his introduction to the army, he has never switched to another army. After being decorated with honor at SL, he finally joined SL’s leadership on April 4, 2026. At the time of his promotion, his mission was to ameliorate the army’s AUSIA division.

Deputy Head Judge xdemon
xdemon is another well-known figure in the army community as well. On July 4, 2025, xdemon joined the team of Judges-in-Training at CPAJ. xdemon first set foot in the army community in February 2022 when he joined the Templars. He rose to the army’s High Command before quitting the army in 2024. In September that year, he created the Nether Knights of Club Penguin, which soon rebranded into the Phantom Republic of Club Penguin a few weeks into its creation. The army was short-lived. In May 2025, xdemon joined the Void Troops briefly, and again returned to VT as a leader in November. In December, he joined the Special Weapons and Tactics leadership to assist with the army’s recurring Operation: Phoenix project. He left the project in just a month.

Lastly, Club Penguin Armies reached out to long-time Head Judge Spotty to learn more about the organization’s decision, as well as Head Judge Moon and Deputy Head Judges GreenVege and xdemon, to learn more about their vision of the future. xdemon has not yet answered the interview.
Why do you believe that promoting these individuals was the best choice?
Spotty, Head Judge: Both xdemon and greenveg have massively stepped up over the last few weeks. They have consistently taken the initiative to create judging group chats and find judges when needed, showing that they are already taking on responsibilities beyond their current roles. Additionally, greenveg would have a significant impact on our Ausia judging community, helping us revive and strengthen the timezone, especially as we currently do not have an Ausia Head Judge. Demon would also be able to provide valuable support across our EU and USA battles, helping ensure those timezones remain well-covered.
What sort of training have you provided to these newly introduced Heads?
Spotty, Head Judge: They are both currently Deputy Head Judges, so they already have a strong understanding of the responsibilities that come with the position and will now be able to train further toward the Head Judge role. They already know how to find judges and organise judging group chats, and we will continue teaching them the more advanced responsibilities, such as conducting judge evaluations and understanding what we look for when hiring new judges. This will allow them to gradually develop the skills needed to be effective Head Judges.
Do you believe that the new leadership of the organization will differ from the current leadership?
Spotty, Head Judge: I believe this will 100% have a positive impact on the team. Bringing a new generation of leadership into any team helps keep it active and motivated, while also introducing new ideas and perspectives. Both xdemon and greenveg have already shown that they are willing to take initiative, and giving them the opportunity to step up will help us build a stronger and more sustainable judging team for the future
Do you believe that you deserve this position more than any other Judge?
GreenVege, Deputy Head Judge: yeah, I’ve love helping this community and I believe I would help CPAJ repair and get active again
Moon, Head Judge: No.. I don’t think I deserve anything more than anyone that’s such an egotistical way of thinking? I think that every judge has an equal chance at becoming HJ.
How long do you expect yourself to be in the apex position of the organization?
GreenVege, Deputy Head Judge: I intend to stay in this position for as long as CPAJ exists, as long as I can remain active and contribute to the organization. If circumstances ever require me to step down unexpectedly, I would make sure everything is in order, responsibilities are properly handed over, and the organization is in a stable position before giving a proper farewell.
Moon, Head Judge: As long as I possibly can be here for since I’m reaching unc status.
Are you planning to bring something different to the organization?
GreenVege, Deputy Head Judge: yes, HJs are known to respond late to DMs and be late with reviews and such and I’m planning to make it quick so army leaders don’t have to wait even for simpler doubts regarding scheduling. And make CPAJ active again ofcc!!!!
Moon, Head Judge: I’ll try my best to do whatever can/will benefit the organization. I’m not sure if I can guarantee anything different/special.
Every year, very few changes are seen in CPAJ’s leadership. Summer at CPA is almost over, and the army community has experienced the promotion of three ambitious individuals at CPAJ. Do you believe that these individuals were the right choice? What would you like to expect from the judging organization next?
