The army community has completed its shift from Club Penguin Army Judges to the Army Judging Board. Over a month has elapsed since AJB came into the picture. In this post, we will explore the newfound judging organization’s efforts in detail and predict what is next for the army community.

On October 5, 2026, the Club Penguin Armies Administration wrote a statement clarifying long-term issues the Club Penguin Army Judges organization has had throughout the organizations’ partnership. In the publication, the Administration highlighted CPAJ’s decline in general and threw light on unattended problems the organization had. In July 2022, CPA and CPAJ immediately became partners, with hopes for independent judging. At the end of CPA’s statement, CPA featured and partnered with a new judging organization — the Army Judging Board.

The Army Judging Board is currently led by a squad of Head Judges comprising GreenVege, Pjayo, SavageCobra, and now formerly Bam117. Unlike CPAJ, AJB has its own website, which discloses information about the hierarchy of judges, battle guidelines, judging process, a guide for army leaders, and more. In addition, the website promises to record battle summaries as posts. As part of their mission, the Head Judges state…
We are the Club Penguin Army Judging Board. We are an organization that houses independent judges for Club Penguin battles. We were founded on 28 September 2026 by Pjayo and SavageCobra.
Our mission is to bring back enforce impartiality and innovation to Club Penguin Army warfare. We look forward to working with you!

AJB Thus Far
On October 5, AJB published an open letter to the army community which critically analyzed the performance of CPAJ and built context necessary to understand AJB’s sudden creation. The same day, the Head Judges wrote another statement highlighting the prospects of the organization. On October 8, the organization held an internal meeting with all of its staff; the outcomes of this meeting were transparent. The meeting discussed promotions for judges, judging standards, and battle factor weights.

Subsequently, on October 10, the Board Delegates met. Each army elected a representative (“Board Delegate”) to the board, who voted on behalf of their army. The meeting discussed the handling of Club Penguin private servers, especially Club Penguin Journey. In addition, the group introduced two-step rooms to the table, plus other room choice-related discussions.

In the following days, AJB functioned normally. Exactly one month into their opening, on November 5, the Board introduced a landmark set of updates along with a monthly summary. The announcement featured Lady Eden as the first Judge of the Month and introduced the concept of Army of the Month. Lady Eden has judged 6 battles so far, including tournament battles and freeland invasions. AOTM, similar to CPA’s Army Index, is seeking community feedback with respect to statistical analysis, and is still a work in progress.

About the Head Judges
All Head Judges in the Army Judging Board have been an army leader in the past, carrying a plethora of wisdom. However, they do not have sufficient experience with a judging organization in the past.
Head Judge Bam117
Bam117 was one of the founders of the well-known Doritos of Club Penguin, as well as a Godfather of the Underground Mafias Army. He was recently inducted as a CPA Legend following a community vote. He led through multiple generations of the Doritos in the previous decade, before the original Club Penguin shut down. He has also led the Army of Club Penguin in the past, and formerly administered Club Penguin Army Central. Later in his career, he spent time advising in armies such as the Templars of Club Penguin and the Romans.
Head Judge GreenVege
GreenVege was the Deputy Head Judge at Club Penguin Army Judges immediately before the community transitioned into the Army Judging Board. He began his career at CPAJ in February 2026, while simultaneously working for the Shadow Legionnaires. GreenVege entered SL leadership in April, with the vision of improving the army’s AUSIA division. In October, when AJB was formed, GreenVege stepped down from SL leadership to portray his neutrality as the newfound organization’s Head Judge.

Head Judge Pjayo
Pjayo entered the army community as a rogue who followed the Ice Warriors around in 2012–2013. He finally enlisted with the Army of Club Penguin in 2013 and moved into the Doritos of Club Penguin as a Moderator in the same year. Again in the same year, he shifted to the Dark Warriors as a Second-in-Command. Around this time, he had been army hopping a lot. In 2014, he opened the Dragons as a small/medium army, which merged into the Water Vikings before the year could end. Pjayo joined WV as a Third-in-Command, and eventually led the army in the spring and summer of 2014. Later, he advised the Vikings for two years.

When Pjayo learned the army community was still around in 2020, he reopened the Shadow Troops, which eventually merged with the Warlords of Kosmos to form the Golden Guardians — also Pjayo’s creation. He finally retired in November 2020, and has been on and off WV’s HCOV ever since. He notes that he has previously worked heavily with Club Penguin Army Media and Club Penguin Army Hub for judging, moderation, and reporting. He was a reporter with the Club Penguin Army Central in the mid-2010s.
Head Judge SavageCobra
SavageCobra joined the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin in July 2018, although he believes he was involved with the Guardians back in March 2018. He served as an active leader in World War VII. He eventually took a break, returning in August 2019 for the Guardians once more, until January 2020, when EGCP shut down. In the summer of 2023, SavageCobra returned to EGCP as a Guardian and rejoined the army leadership in 2024. He has led through numerous tournament battles and wars, building his portfolio as a leader on the battlefield. In November 2024, he joined the Water Vikings as Second-in-Command and became a leader by April 2025. After some weeks, he started serving as an Advisor in the army until the creation of AJB.

It is worth noting that Bam117 stepped down from AJB’s leadership on November 5, 2026. As a result, Bam117 is now viewed as a former Head Judge.

Lastly, Club Penguin Armies reached out to AJB’s current Head Judges — Bam117 (now former), GreenVege, Pjayo, and SavageCobra — to learn more about their reaction to the migration and their vision for the future.
What is your view on the community’s migration from CPAJ to AJB?
Bam117: I view the move as a positive shift for the community, changes are sometime necessary for a greater goal to be achieved.
GreenVege: I see this transition as more than simply moving from one organization to another. It is about building a standard judging organization moving forward and creating something that the community can rely on.
Pjayo: I think it shows that people were hungry for action to be taken. There was a genuine desire for fixes to be made, no matter how small they were, and people felt the prior administration wasn’t up to the task. That’s not a condemnation of their project or their ideals, but it does show that in some respect they perhaps weren’t able to answer the call.
SavageCobra: I am very grateful that the community supported us in this much needed political change. It was ambitious, it was dangerous, but ultimately it was something we all needed.
Do you believe AJB will replace former systems and introduce new judging concepts?
Bam117: Of course! I believe it’s already taken off well and has received positive feed back from judges, leaders, and media members alike. We aren’t trying to reinvent the wheel just trying to improve and innovate.
GreenVege: I believe AJB already has its own system implemented. We are still learning from what was used before and looking at how we can improvise and improve our current standards. There is always room to learn and make the system better, and that’s something we will continue working on.
Pjayo: I don’t think it needs to happen fast, or in some cases at all. However, we are listening to the community and are – as an institution – built to handle any potential changes in taste. Look no further than our experimental division and our ongoing efforts on the CPJ ruleset
SavageCobra: To an extent. While we are not trying to reinvent the wheel, we do intend on making things consistent and a little more objective, while innovating and growing our standards overtime to meet the needs of the community. Our Experimental Division and statistics analysis hopefully will bring some much needed innovation and spice to battling. In terms of structure and function, we hope to keep transparency and communication at an all time high, and hopefully our usage of senior judges can let us spread the workflow reasonably.
What does AJB have in store for the future? Where do you see the newfound organization in a few months from now?
Bam117: Innovation, stabilization, and consolidation. AJB has a few cool things in store for the future but the first objective is as much feedback we can get, and improving on that. A good portion of community members felt unheard in the previous administrations so we’re definitely looking to build on that.
GreenVege: I want to see AJB become a trusted org within the community.
Pjayo: Not to make it sound like we aren’t dreaming big, but our focus first and foremost is that of bringing stability to the scene. Beyond that, like I mentioned, CPJ is being explored as a judge appropriate platform, as well as further cooperation with other organizations across the community.
SavageCobra: Firstly, we hope to be stable and punching out competent, well trained judges and providing all services adequately. Big projects in the works currently to be rolled out when ready include our Experimental Division’s CP Journey battling standards and our statistical analysis. The future can be unpredictable so there’s no saying where exactly we will be or what will be here, just we hope to be on track for fulfilling our mission to provide competent, consistent judging.
Is there anything else that you would like to add?
Bam117: I think we have a great team in place with a ton of active and quality judges showing their marks. Im the biggest placeholder out of the group but seriously it looks good lol.
GreenVege: If you have some free time, a PC, and you’re curious about how judging works, consider applying for Judge Apprentice. Me and my wonderful team will be more than happy to teach you, help you learn the system, and give you an opportunity to get involved with judging.
Pjayo: This project doesn’t happen without community support, so I urge those interested to sign up to judge!
SavageCobra: Once again, thanks everyone who supported us this far!
The Army Judging Board spontaneously opened with celebration and discussion throughout October. So far, the organization has shown signs of longevity, and the responses by the Head Judges back this up. How long do you believe the Judging Board will last? Do you agree with the army community’s migration between judging organizations?
