Welcome to Behind The Scenes, the column where we gather insights about the day-to-day life of a staff member at Club Penguin Armies. In this edition, we will explore the personality of Mabel, a Senior Reporter at the organization.

Mabel is currently a Guardian at the Water Vikings and a Senior Reporter at Club Penguin Armies. She describes her real-life occupation as a server and bartender, and frequently shows up in army chats to hang out. As a member of the organization’s Media Department, she has attained a large majority of the available Reporting Stamps, boasting of her writing efforts. Moreover, she has shown great affection towards seals.
Who Is Mabel?
Mabel first set foot in the army community in October 2020 in the Water Vikings. She recalls that she advised the Trojans and the Wet Army Penguins around 2021–2020. Throughout that time, she stayed with WV. By September 2022, she began commanding the Vikings.
Mabel led through prominent tournaments, including Christmas Chaos XII, Legends Cup XIII, AUSIA Arena: Summer Edition, and Christmas Chaos XIII. Under her leadership, the Vikings were able to reach the Grand Finals at the AUSIA Arena and triumph in the Grand Final battle at Christmas Chaos XIII. By December 2023, she was inducted as a Viking Legend, alongside her co-leader, Dino. Finally, she quit her position on February 2, 2024, at her retirement event. Before the retirement event took place, she first announced her resignation minutes after the New Year Bonanza tournament ended.

A Senior Reporter
Mabel joined the Reporting Team in the organization on December 4, 2022, but she gave her first shot at reporting the next month. Since joining the team, she has never left or taken a long hiatus from the position. At Club Penguin Armies, Senior Reporters are expected to publish posts and articles for the website with precision. Over time, while in this position, Mabel has occasionally had her work reviewed numerous times, based on the input of Reporting Heads who cooperate with her. When it comes to consistent work in the Reporting Team, Mabel is a great example. She is always delivering quality work, and her posts are always easy to edit. As an editor, it is always nice to see a post in the dropbox and barely have to do anything. And when it comes to the team as a whole, Mabel’s performance is highly recognised and appreciated.
In the last four months, Mabel has never dropped her post score under 8 out of 10. More often than not, she receives a perfect 10 on her posts. In September alone, she has completed three posts, setting her apart from other reporters.

In a nutshell, Mabel has established an influential career that sets an example for other members aspiring to be something similar. Based on the Reporting Team’s remarks, her posts require little to no editing at all.

Who are you behind the scenes? Outside of Club Penguin Armies, what are you interested in?
I work as a server/bartender 💔 making as much extra cash as I can!!! Outside of that I just go out a lot if I’m bored
Do you play any games other than Club Penguin?
Overwatch… Deadlock more recently…. you’ll catch me playing Roblox and The Sims a lot too, I don’t own too many games
What motivated you to work as a Reporting Team member?
Idk I was just interested in what it was all about tbh LOL, I used to be the head of Water Viking’s Ocean Oracle, and most of my posts I would push out were heavily inspired by the layout of posts from CPA, so I figured to just give it a shot
How did you get the penguin name you call yourself today?
When Gravity Falls first came out, I was told by many of my irl peers that I reminded them of her with the same personality and looks, so I just started using the alias Mabel all over the internet and it just basically stuck with me
