Once again, war broke out in the small/medium army community. The Fire Vikings declared an on-map war against the Pontian Warriors earlier this month. In this post, we will go through each clue step by step and finally analyze the results.

Building the Context
The Fire Vikings first joined the community in mid‑November 2024 under the leadership of Yellow Typer. Over time, the army experienced multiple leadership changes. Throughout its run, the army engaged in multiple wars, including a crusade against the Templars. In addition, they formed multiple alliances and partook in numerous tournaments. After the army disappeared in early 2025, it returned in February. Recently, a lot of leadership and staff changes erupted in the Vikings, and FV founder YellowTyper was discovered multilogging in an event.
On the other hand, the Pontian Warriors opened on July 22, 2026, as a Shadow Legionnaires colony. With Nameless leading the army, they reached 7 penguins at their opening event. Through consistent events, they earned a spot in the Top 10 during their first week. Following this success, the army has seen fluctuations in its strength, but the Pontian Warriors look to regain their momentum following numerous leadership changes.
What Happened?
On September 13, 2026, the Fire Vikings waged war against the Pontian Warriors. The war was set as a 1v1 campaign, taking place on the army map. The Vikings were aiming for PW’s Jackhammer, making the land the center point of conflict. Moreover, the declaration focused on xusi, a former PW leader who recently joined FV as Fourth-in-Command. She was previously a member of PW and SL, but left due to internal conflicts. FV claimed that after her departure, PW members began spreading false claims and rumors about her, which led the army to stand up for one of their own. The war has since begun with land transfers, capital claims, and planned invasions between the two armies.

The Chronology
On September 5, the Greater Warriors transferred Flippers to the Fire Vikings. The next day, on September 6, the SnowWalkers of Club Penguin transferred all their land and currency to the Pontian Warriors following their departure from the map. In addition, the Pontian Warriors received 1,000 coins from the Shadow Legionnaires on the same day. For the next 6 days, activity and transactions involving FV and PW went silent.

On September 12, at 7:04 PM EDT, Yellow Typer officially declared Vanilla as FV’s new capital. At 7:25 PM EDT, the Vikings finally deployed a 1,000-coin-worth ship from their Sparkle to invade PW’s Migrator. As a result, the Ashes of the Pontian War finally began. At 10:00 PM EDT, the Vikings transferred 700 coins to the Templars, and the transfer was accepted within the following half-hour.

The battle of Migrator was set to take place on September 14. However, the battle never took place that day, as the Pontian Warriors had surrendered. Consequently, the Warriors shut down, closing the chapter of their first generation. In PW’s announcement, army leader Yotagy highlighted that the army would return in the following month. On the same day, the Templars entered into a war against the Dark Warriors, almost converging the timelines of the two wars. As of that day, the FV-PW war was deemed finished; no battle was completed, and no kind of treaty was enforced.

In the end, the war never really started, as the Pontian Warriors shut down before any battles could happen. With PW closing, they surrendered to the Fire Vikings, allowing FV to triumph without either side having to actually fight.
