After conducting checks on users of the armies participating in the CPA20 Challengers Cup, we came across something unusual. This time, the investigation was focused on the Fire Vikings and specifically its leader, Yellow Typer.
What Happened?
The search was a routine search after the CPA20 Challenger Cup Semi-Final battles ended, as Club Penguin Armies do for all tournaments. During that search, the CPA: Battleground bot showed a notification about IP-matching accounts when Yellow Typer‘s account was searched.
The Multilogging
Along with other logs, the bot showed the following:
Logins for ZackyWacky[FV] with IP #14
18 August 2026 22:26 – 18 August 2026 22:27
18 August 2026 22:27 – 18 August 2026 22:44Logins for YellowRaps[FV] with IP #14
18 August 2026 22:16 – 18 August 2026 23:19
Notice that times are in EDT+7
This signaled that there were many chances of multilogging. Upon checking the Fire Vikings server, FV indeed had an event at the times presented above. At that event, which took place on August 18, at 3-4 pm EDT, there were even some event pics where the two accounts could be seen logged on.
Luckily, there were no other events that were found to be multilogged, but CPA felt it was necessary to step in and write this post in order to prevent future multilogging from taking place in FV.
FV Leadership Response
FV confirmed that there was indeed an event at that time and the ZackyWacky account was indeed online. They claimed that the account is owned by someone who was a recruit in the Secret Service.
YellowTyper tried to make up a story while the other leaders seemed like they weren’t aware of the multilogging. Yellow claimed that he was mobile-logged, but when that got contradicted, he claimed he mobile-logged on the ZackyWacky account. He said that the account belonged to one of his recruits in SS, and he also had access to it. According to him, the recruit had not been around in the army community for a year, but came back during the event and could not access the account, so YT mobile-logged in to check it out. Additionally, he claimed that the recruit was no longer using Discord and that it was someone he knows in real life.
What action is Club Penguin Armies Taking?
The CPAB logs, together with the event pics and the Yellow Typer story, which changed each time there was a contradiction, proved to the Administration that there was indeed multilogging.
Given that the member involved was the Leader and Creator of the army, thus as high-ranked as possible, we decided to take the following measures:
- -1 Point from last week’s Top Ten
- *0.8 multiplier for this week’s Top Ten
We hope that there won’t be a need for another punishment in the future.
As always, Club Penguin Armies does not condone multilogging and will punish it severely where found.
What do you think of the situation? Will we see another spotlight soon?
