A Month in Review: March 2026

As usual, March was a very active month with March Madness, but what else happened? Let’s take a look at half a year ago and remember what the army community went through during the third month of this year.

THE FIRST STRETCH OF THE MONTH

The month started with the results of the Club Penguin Armies Winter Olympics. The Olympics, dedicated to CPA staff members worked by gaining points for completing tasks in the department each staff was a member of. There were both individual and department points. Five people really gave their best in it. The top 5 included Kazoo, MasterDS, Pingo, Kira, and last but not least Beasto. All of the CPA Staff gave their best during these Olympics, and maybe we can expect a new edition of this to keep good staff cohesion.

At the very beginning of the month, we witnessed an army achieving major status. After months of effort and hard work, the Dark Warriors finally reached Major, announced by Jojo Teri on March 1st.

It was an important beginning of the month for the Dark Warriors, with Holo2 coming back into leadership. This announcement was made by Subzero on the same day the army reached major status. Quite the celebration for Dark Warriors. Holo2 joined Coolguy and Subzero for the revival of Dark Warriors in 2025. Althought he retired previously for personal reasons, his return was a pretty important celebration for both leadership and troops.

Around that time, the March Madness XI began, with the Qualifiers taking place on March 7 and 8 and twelve armies having registered for the tourney. Eight armies fought for a spot in the Quarter Finals, which took place the following week.

MIDWAY THROUGH THE MONTH

In March, after a few months of being branded as Tsunamis, Denizmyn announced a change in the name of the army, becoming The Abyssal Tides. At the same time, he also announced Tokenlinenzz‘s coup, along with Garfield’s promotion to higher command.

A Small-Medium armies war started, involving multiple armies. We saw Teutons and Phantom Republic being the main participants in the conflict, with nobody being on Teutons’ side. Comparatively, 4 armies were helping out the Phantom Republic. Those were the Fire Vikings, Abyssal Tides, Crimson Sovereign and indirectly the Romans.

On March 11, Dorx announced Cryo Vanguards merger with Dark Pirates, who had just come back to the army community, with Cyber announcing its revival on March 11, 2026. A few days after Dark Pirates’ revival, the army shut down due to ongoing conflicts within the army’s management.

Help Force celebrated their 8th anniversary on March 13, 2026. Founded by Ayan in 2018, out of a wish to help players to earn stamps on Club Penguin Online. Their 8th anniversary continues to show the achievements they have obtained, showing themselves as one of the top AUSIA armies.

Originally founded as Lunar Vikings by TinyGuy on December 5, 2025, the army rebranded and came back under Lunar Troops. The army, soon after its revival, allied with the Crimson Sovereign.

The March Madness continued with the Quarter Finals taking place on March 14 and 15. The Rebel Penguin Federation, Water Vikings, Templars, Army of Club Penguin managed to advance to the Semi-Finals, which took place the following week. In the Final Four, RPF defeated WV and ACP defeated TCP, with the winners advancing to the Grand Finals and the losers fighting for third place.

He had held significant roles in several armies and was also involved in leading the Dark Pirates in the same month. A few days later, FV was in the news again, twice, for allying with the Templars and for Siri’s induction as leader.

The army community witnessed the end of the conflict between Phantom Republic and Teutons. The final score was 5–0–1 (W–T–L), in favour of PRCP. Xdemon imposed a forced treaty on the Teutons.

On March 27, the Goobers of Club Penguin held their first event and joined the army community. The army was made by Frosty and Saiko, with Neburt and TommyShelby also leading. The army ended up being short-lived.

March ended with the final results of March Madness XI. The Army of Club Penguin managed to win the tournament, giving the Rebel Penguin Federation second place in a huge battle. The battle for 3rd place between Templars and Water Vikings ended in a Templars victory, giving them third place. Shadow Legionnaires managed to win the Small/Medium trophy, being the SM army that advanced the furthest in the tournament.
