This month, the Masked Bandits have announced their alliance with the Fire Warriors. Today, we shall delve into the intricate details of this union.

History
The contrast between the histories of the two armies is astounding. Masked Bandits of Club Penguin is an extremely young army as of the time of writing this, being founded a mere fortnight ago on August 2, under the leadership of Justin and Sweater. Predictably, this means there is, within a margin of error, no history on the army. As of the last Top Ten, they were in ninth place, with 9.5 size points.

Fire Warriors, on the other hand, is an ancient army. Founded sometime in 2007 by Wwe09, Fire Warriors was a powerful force that ended up in conflicts with big names such as Doritos of Club Penguin. They also suffered numerous shutdowns since 2007. Around February 28, 2022, the army shut down yet again; however, to quote a wise man, “♪but he came back♪.” On May 27, 2026, the revival of Fire Warriors was announced by AustinFraud. As of the last Top Ten, they were in tenth place with 10.0 size points.

An alliance is forged
On August 6, 2026, Masked Bandits leader Justin announced their alliance with the Fire Warriors. A day later, on August 7, 2026, Fire Warriors leader AustinFruad announced their alliance with the Masked Bandits.

The armies’ plans for the alliance are not public information at the present time, but we do know some of their expectations. It appears one of their primary plans is to have practice battles with each other so as to train both their armies.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to Sweater, the leader of Masked Bandits, and AustinFruad, the leader of Fire Warriors, for an interview.
What made you ally with FW/MB?
AustinFraud: Sweater had approached me about an alliance, and the team as a whole believed that Masked Bandits would be a fantastic ally because both armies had similar goals. Since both Fire Warriors and Masked Bandits are relatively new to this community, I believe it’s important that we help one another. Sweater is a close friend of mine and someone I have led along with in Fire Warriors, so I was naturally excited to go forward with this alliance.
Sweater: Our armies are similar sizes and in similar stages of growth. I think it’s beneficial to bounce off one-another and practice with each other. Additionally, since Austin & I have been out of the game so long, to maybe even share tips with each other on updated metas.
How do you expect this new alliance to benefit your army?
AustinFruad: Since we are currently the newest armies on the scene, we intend to hold a number of practice battles so that we are all battle-ready for any tournaments that may come up. To be honest, I have been focusing more on the community than on battles or tactical improvement. It might be advantageous for us too to battle with Masked Bandits once in a while.
Sweater: I would like to see both of our armies grow and we’re both on the right track. We don’t even really attend each other’s events often and we’re still growing […] the ability to bounce off each other and share growth strategies could prove invluable.
Have you made or are you making any plans with this new alliance?
AustinFraud: You will have to wait and see
Sweater: We just recently practice battled, preparing both of our troops for the upcoming tournament. Beyond that, we will continue to support each other’s meaningful growth
Anything to add?
AustinFraud: No
Sweater:
It would appear that both armies are happy with this union; this alliance has a good chance of lasting a long time. How long do you expect this alliance to last? Do you think this has significantly altered the course of the history of the Masked Bandits?
