GRAND OPENING

Masked Bandits opened on August 2 under the leadership of Sweater and Justin. Furthermore, Sweater currently serves as a Deputy Head Judge in Club Penguin Army Judges, while Justin most recently served as a leader of the Dark Warriors.

Ahead of the opening, the Masked Bandits completed their rank structure and expressed confidence that they would surpass 30 attendees. Before the event, the army announced it would give away gift cards if attendance reached 20 and 30, while also scheduling the opening on the same day as the Legends Cup XVI Grand Finals.

Lastly, Club Penguin Armies reached out to Sweater to learn more about the opening.

Do you think that Masked Bandits will grow to become a strong army?

All I know for sure is that I stand by everything I said in my announcement. I will pour every ounce of passion I have into this, and if it’s meant to succeed, it will.

What motivated you to open Masked Bandits?

I’ve been critical of armies that open just to dress up on Club Penguin Journey, and don’t want to act like an army. I figured I should put my money where my mouth is. If I can’t do it, fair enough, I’ll stop criticising these armies.

Anything else to say to the army community?

If you’re interested in joining something different, message me. We’re still looking for people to take on all sorts of positions. I can’t promise anything other than we’ll try our best.

In conclusion, Sweater made Masked Bandits thanks to his criticism that some armies don’t want to act like an army. Furthermore, it is clear that Sweater, alongside Justin, knows what they are doing, and we can only hope they achieve what they want. Do you agree with Sweater? Why would you start an army to help the current state of the community?
