Mission Start: Secret Service Host Revival Event

The Secret Service has officially reopened its doors after two years outside of the community. The army holds a special place within the CPPS era for many and has received a warm welcome upon its return.

Deisgned by Master DS

The Secret Service, founded by TD999 on October 20th, 2020, quickly rose to prominence in the S/M army scene. Under the leadership of TD999 and Toxic Storm, soon joined by JoelFreak, the army achieved remarkable success. Within a week, they excelled by entering the top three S/M armies, and within two weeks, they claimed the #1 spot. Their ascent continued as they entered the major top tens. Assumedly, their goal was to become a major competitor within the community and potentially a major army.

Operation: Filling the cup

The Secret Service continued to represent the SM community in tournaments such as Aces of Ausia and Christmas Chaos. However, just under two months after their opening, the army announced its closure. Even though the army was popular within the SM community, the leaders soon became busy in real life. Ultimately, this was the reason for its sudden closure.

In July 2021, the army returned to the community, igniting its second generation. Their revival event saw 19 penguins celebrate their return. Initially revived by TD999, Toxic Storm and Dman64w, the army saw a resurgence once again. During this generation, they were able to form new alliances with Smart Penguins, People’s Imperial Confederation, Sea Serpents, and Golden Troops. They also faced Special Weapons And Tactics and Ice Warriors in the Legends Cup XI tournament. After beating SWAT in the first round, they were knocked out by the Ice Warriors.

During their first month back in the community, they were able to break into the Top Tens, obtaining 9th place on August 1. However, it also saw controversy as Toxic found himself in trouble after allegedly troop-stealing from SWAT. Soon after, on August 9, Joel returned to the army’s leadership. Upon his return, he helped the army charge into the Challengers Cup. However, they were knocked out in the second round. Following their run in the Cup, the army declared war on the Sidie Rangers. However, this war was quickly followed by the retirement of both Joel and TD.

Despite their retirements, Dman and the Service went on to win the war against the Rangers. Shortly after this, the army closedonce again, just under two months after re-opening.

Ausia Arena: Winter Edition. battle against PIC

In January 2022, the army officially revived, seeing a maximum of 21 penguins turn up for their reopening event. This time, the Service was led by Pandor and Kyle. This generation saw new leaders who were eager to succeed. Within the first couple of weeks, Celts merged into the army. Despite recently reviving, they started off on the front foot entering the Ausia Arena tournament and making it to the quarter-finals before being knocked out by Ice Warriors.

The army went on to fight multiple wars, going from strength to strength, and climbing the Top Ten. They were soon able to find stability within the Top Tens, consistently placing in sixth place. By April, the army was able to use this momentum to obtain major army status for the first time in their history. This was accompanied by their rise to fifth place in the Top Tens. Following this, on April 24, AustinFraud joined the Secret Service’s Leadership. His induction was welcomed by 34 troops during an event held on that date.

By May, the army faced a defacement as their Discord server was defaced. They did not let this stop them though. They soon regained momentum. Yet, Pandor would go on to reveal his retirement from the army. Accordingly, he announced his successor, Ugly. The army was able to still max 20+, however, they soon were engaged in conflict with Ninjas. Their former leader, Pandor was in Ninjas at the time but was accused of troop-stealing members into his new army. Water Vikings were also impacted by Pandor’s actions.

Secret Service’s third generation

The army’s consistent performance throughout this generation contributed significantly to its continued success and influence in the community. Undoubtedly, it was the army’s most successful generation. Ultimately, the conflict with Ninjas led to the Secret Service’s closure. Shockingly, months after its shutdown, an investigation into Pandor and SWAT led to many questions being asked. Club Penguin Armies exposed Pandor for multilogging during his time in SWAT. However, they also took a small sample of events from his time in SS which saw the multilogs present. Ultimately, this led to a cloud being cast over the army’s previous success.

Unaffected by the past and excited to create an even greater legacy, the Secret Service has officially reopened its doors. Its intentions? Classified. On July 7, they officially gave life to the army’s fourth generation, maxing an astounding 41 penguins. Rumors about its reopening were spread before its reopening and it was officially confirmed on June 15, when their new Discord server was opened to the public.

Since the opening of its new server, the army has seen multiple returns, recruits and additions to its ranks. Its leadership currently consists of TD999, JoelFreak and Bscharbach2.

Secret Service during its revival

Already, the army has achieved tremendous success in its revival but what led to its revival? Club Penguin Armies approached TD999 for an interview.

What led to the Secret Service’s revival?

Joel hit me up asking about SS revival and he brought me and Bschar back into leading. So we got together and made plans to revive Secret Service for a 4th Generation.

Would you count your revival event a success?

Yes, it was a massive success with over 40+ penguins showing up. Given it was also during LC battle times it was a decent enough turnout and we plan to keep it steady.

What changes were made in the army?

We have a new leadership team, dedicated staff members and advisors, improved on a lot of aspects from the previous gens, and have a lot of exciting plans ahead.

What should the community expect from the agents?

We are here to shake up the community again. Intentions Classified.

The agents are back once again, and they plan to ‘shake up the community’ once more. Will we see them dominate the Top Ten leaderboard again? Was their tremendously successful return event a glimpse of what we can expect to see from them?
