Rye’s army journey began in May 2020 when she was on Club Penguin Online and stumbled upon a Dark Warriors troop recruiting. Initially joining the Warriors for free coins, Rye quickly became deeply involved in the army community. She quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a Head Moderator and earning a reputation as one of the greatest mentors and VC leaders. Rye was consistently active within the army, training new troops and attending every event. However, in November 2020, Rye decided that it was time to retire and move on from the Warriors.

After retiring from the Warriors, Rye returned to the army community in 2021. She took on staff roles within multiple armies, including Special Weapons and Tactics, Secret Service, and Templars. After leaving Templars, Rye rejoined SWAT and was promoted to leader after winning a leader election hosted on the server. Rye led SWAT from September 2022 through January 2023.

Following her departure from the SWAT leadership, Rye and Logical decided to create an army known as Penguins of Madagascar in January 2023. Under Rye’s leadership, POM achieved victory in a war against the Magma Clan and also secured a tie against SWAT. POM also participated in the AUSIA Arena: Summer Edition Group Stage 1, facing off against the Help Force. While they did not emerge victorious in the battle, POM managed to reach a peak of 20 troops, achieving heights not previously seen within the army.

POM was a consistent presence in the army community, ranking fifth on May 7, 2023, in the Top Ten. In May 2023, POM teamed up with the Sapphire Concordat in the Bloodbath Barrage war against the Dark Vikings. The Sapphire Concordat emerged victorious. The army underwent several internal changes involving leadership. It was during this period that Rye decided to rejoin the Templars, this time assuming a leadership role in June 2023. However, only about less than two months later, TCP silently removed Rye from leadership with no official announcements.

Although TCP removed Rye, this didn’t stop her from being motivated to accomplish a lot within the community. Rye decided to find herself back in POM helping out the army of which on January 23, POM had celebrated their first anniversary. Just a few months later, on March 27, the People’s Imperial Confederation declared war on POM. PIC’s aim was to increase troop engagement and sizes. The April Ambush war lasted from April 1 to April 7, consisting of seven battles. The war concluded with an agreement treaty, declaring PIC as the victors. Despite PIC’s victory, POM fought hard and proved to be a significant challenge.

Immediately after the April Ambush war ended on April 7, POM decided to shut down on April 8. The day of POM shutting down, Former Water Vikings leader Dino reached out to Rye and offered her the position of Second-in-Command. Intrigued by the Vikings’ relaxed environment and engaging community, Rye found accepting the position easy.

During Rye’s tenure as a high commander of the Vikings, she played a crucial role in supporting the army during several significant conflicts by constantly attending events, helping vc lead, and helping lead some battles. Notably, she contributed to the efforts in the Sluttpådawn War, where the Vikings declared war against the Templars on April 7. Within about two weeks of intense battling, on April 23, the Templars and Vikings mutually agreed to conclude the war. This decision came as the Templars had achieved 15 or more wins in the war score, declaring TCP as the victors.

Additionally, she played a key role in the Forlosning War. It began when the Army of Club Penguin declared war on the Water Vikings on April 25th. Following their previous conflict with the Templars, the Vikings committed wholeheartedly to the Forlosning war, refusing to relent. They were determined to demonstrate their strength and resilience to the community. The conflict concluded on May 10 with an agreement declaring the Vikings as victors, achieving a war score of 12-1-1.

Rye also played a pivotal role in supporting the Vikings during the Around the World Cup during the month of May. The Vikings advanced all the way to the third qualifying round against the Elite Guardians of CP. Most recently, the Vikings were declared on by the Guardians on June 9, the day the map’s grace period ended. The reasoning behind this was that Club Penguin Armies Chief Executive Producer and Army Legend, Mchappy, spun a wheel. The wheel ended up landing on the Vikings. The war quickly ended on June 13 with an agreement between the Vikings and the Guardians, declaring EGCP as the victors with a war score of 5-0-1. Although the Vikings did not win the war with EGCP, it had a significant impact on Rye. It showcased her stepping up during a period when Cabin, was on leave.

Currently, Rye holds the position as the newest Commander of the Water Vikings. Club Penguin Armies have reached out to her to learn about her plans and vision for the future of the Vikings.

How did you feel when you found out you were promoted to leader?

Initial reaction; I was getting a ton of pings at work and then saw the announcement and I was so shocked and couldn’t help but smile. I knew I was going to be promoted at some point but had no idea when. Later on in the day I was just feeling so grateful from all the congrats and stuff. It’s something I’ve never experienced before.

What are your favorite moments so far with the Water Vikings?

Definitely the fashion show that we hosted (in my igloo, of course) a few weeks back, the many VC’s with Mei, Joel, Claire, Ridita, Cabin, Bschar, and many others. I also remember every win I’ve had with WV so far and those are all great memories too 🙂

Are there any goals would you would like to achieve under your leadership?

To be honest, I just want to keep up the legacy that Dino created for WV. Huge shoutout to bro because idk how he did it all, but yeah. I hope to get closer with my staff team, I wanna get creative and make tournaments for the Vikings to attend, make graphics, and most importantly, become a better recruiter.

What advice you have for someone aspiring to become a leader one day?

Always communicate with your team. Bring up ideas that you have and start working on them. Be confident when you are leading, and stay relaxed. Always set an example, because the way that you act, and what you do is reflected on your army.

Rye has become a recognizable figure within the army community in recent years. Her ambition and dedication to achieving success for the armies she is part of are evident.
