Reporter Of The Month: March 2024

March was a month full of new hires, and one of the new hires was able to stand out among the rest. This reporter contributed to many published posts, always willing to take on a topic and give it their very all.

Fun X Time, formerly known as Krill300, is the Reporter of the Month for March 2024. Currently, Fun X Time leads the Special Weapons and Tactics alongside working at Club Penguin Armies. The media department was unsure if Fun X Time would fit with our team, but they have been a consistent reporter and a delight to work with.

Joining our team amidst the anticipated March Madness IX, Fun X Time took very quickly to stepping up and showing his willingness to cooperate with the editing team. His first post covered the return of the Dark Pirates, led by fellow March-hire Ninjaleader. On top of helping out with the tournament coverage, Fun X Time even has tackled writing for some of columns. In fact, his addition to the Memorable Moments column is our very first edition.

So ambitious!

As a result of his cooperation and initiative, we have awarded him with Reporter of the Month. With this announcement, we’d also like to announce his promotion to a full time Reporter, moving up from Reporter in Training.

Why did you want to become a Reporter?

I wanted to become a Reporter because I wanted to achieve more merit in my army career. Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) did not have a reporter at Club Penguin Armies (CPA), and we felt the need to have one. We could serve the army community, helping aid SWAT’s reputation over time. This was not the only reason, however.

In March 2024, I finished my annual examinations, and I had a lot of free time, which I planned to inculcate into authoring posts for CPA. I also aimed to acquire Reporter of the Month within March itself. I applied after being inspired by two people in the community. CPA Editor-in-Chief Coolguy wrote to me that I should seriously apply for the position, and I had bet CPA Senior Reporter Mei that I would be entitled as a Reporter of the Month very soon. And, here it is, at this very moment.

What would you say has been your favorite part of the role?

My favorite parts of reporting have been researching, interrogating, formatting, and most importantly, writing. Research has helped me educate myself on the history of armies. Interrogating with other key figures in the community has been a great task. I love asking questions. Formatting is also very fun, too. The beautiful font of a page that was once blank is too mesmerizing.

What are some future goals you have?

Writing has been my passion at an early age. I have tried authoring books in the past, although I have not successfully written one. However, I endeavored to write a book sometime soon, and I felt the need for a professional and friendly space to practice writing. Although my future goals are inclined toward computer science, writing will be one of my life-long hobbies. And, the Club Penguin Armies army media organization [is a] beautiful place.

Once again, we appreciate all of those involved working in our team. And most of all, we appreciate the readers who rely on us to provide the most accurate community news. Congratulations to Fun X Time! Which of Fun X Time’s posts did you most enjoy reading?
