On October 2, SnowWalkers of Club Penguin leader the_alternate announced changes to the army’s leadership. As a result, catfish was relieved of their leadership position due to inactivity. However, this was not a disciplinary action. Instead, catfish did not have enough time to dedicate to the army. Despite this change, catfish will continue contributing to the army as a Winter General within SWCP’s High Command.

Meanwhile, iguessnot was inducted into leadership. Previously, iguessnot had led both the Abyssal Tides and Xbox Republic while also having experience in the Fire Vikings. With this past experience, iguessnot was a suitable addition to SWCP’s leadership. Notably, a post by the_alternate clarified that iguessnot was not troop-stolen from the Fire Vikings. Instead, iguessnot approached the_alternate to join the army.

These leadership changes come as SWCP prepares for its next steps. At the time of these changes, SWCP were at war with the Pizzaioli of Club Penguin. However, the map was recently paused until October 15, leading to the cancellation of all SWCP map-based events.
To find out more about these leadership changes, Club Penguin Armies reached out to iguessnot.
