GOODBYE GALACTIC
On October 18, 2026, the SnowWalkers of Club Penguin announced a major leadership change within the community. GalacticR3 retired from her position as Leader of the SnowWalkers while naming Shania32, who had joined the army five days prior, as her successor. Moreover, this announcement came about not long after a previous leadership restructuring, with iguessnot taking the helm on October 2. This announcement also comes around after SWCP’s recent Top Ten performance resulting in their appearance in a tied 10th place, a notable achievement for this Small/medium army. the_alternate, who announced the leadership changes, also announced a farewell and induction event at an unconfirmed time.

GalacticR3 joined the SnowWalkers of Club Penguin on May 8, 2026, one day after its founding. As an introduction to her army career, she stayed with the army throughout its lifespan up to this point. Because of her diligence and commitment to the army, she was promoted to Leader of the Snowwalkers on August 11. She served in this role for the two and a half months leading up to her retirement. Ultimately, the army awarded her the Honorary Snowwalker title on October 19, one day after her retirement.

HELLO SHANIA
Shania32 is no stranger to the small/medium army scene. After being recruited into the Shadow Legionnaires, she rose to the call of being a Staff-in-Training. During this time, she managed to get a peak rank of Captain in SL. Shania grew her initial connections with the SnowWalkers by taking up a position on the advisory board for the army. However, as Dinoplay2500 pivoted his career into the Army of Club Penguin, Shania took a break from army affiliation, retiring from the Shadow Legionnaires. Recently, the SnowWalkers of Club Penguin offered her a return to the community as their Second-in-command. She accepted, becoming a full-fledged high command member of SWCP on October 13, and was named the successor to Galactic on October 18.

This promotion comes as part of a recent string of leadership and staff changes for the SnowWalkers. Since the beginning of the month, the army demoted a leader, retired another, and promoted two more in their place. Among their staff, the SnowWalkers have seen Jack, the former Black Ops HQ leader, come and go amongst their staff, alongside his named successor, Alex, in his role. Shania32 inherits her role in this environment of changes and shakeups to the structure of the army.
Lastly, Club Penguin Armies reached out to Shania32 and GalacticR3 to learn more about their promotion and retirements, respectively.
