After a gruelling and strenuous war, the conflict between the Templars and Dark Warriors has ended. With 5 battles having taken place, let us review the aftermath.

THE DECLARATION
On September 14, the Templars declared war on the Dark Warriors, with a declaration that made some serious claims. Before all of this, however, the Templars and Dark Warriors used to be allies. After this alliance had ended, the Templars felt as though DW had “knifed [them] in the back” and alleged they also “leech from others” to uphold their Major Army status. The Dark Warriors did not shy away from this, and had formed a response fully addressing all the accusations from the Templars. The Dark Warriors had made some statements of their own, claiming that the Templars tried to convince DW and the Aliens to raid a Legends Cup battle in an attempt to boycott Club Penguin Armies.
Both armies clearly felt some disdain toward the other, and so they took to the battlefield to resolve it. The Templars titled this war as EXTERMINATIO SANGUISUGARUM and kicked off everything with an invasion of Thermal on September 16. Proving successful, the Templars had initially shown they were ready to fight. Unfortunately, though, the Templars’ strength had waned as the war went on. The next 3 battles on the servers Puddle, Down Under, and Yeti would not go their way. The war formally ended on September 18, with the Dark Warriors’ successful reclaim of Thermal. With a score of 4 wins and 1 loss, the Dark Warriors had decisively won this conflict.

CONCLUSION
With the Dark Warriors coming out on top, they had created a force treaty to place upon the Templars. Additionally, DW also held a celebratory victory parade for the army. In a similar vein, the Templars also still seem to be in high spirits in their post-war announcement. As the Crescent Dawn treaty comes into effect, the two armies can now fully resume normal operations.

In an effort to learn more from both sides, Club Penguin Armies reached out to a leader from each army for an interview.
What was the preparation like for the battles? Was there ever a moment when things did not go as you expected?
Julia: Prep was easy. Everyone hopped into action immediately when the declaration came out. It was pretty obvious that war was coming, it was more of a matter of when. We worked like a cohesive unit, roles didn’t really separate us, it was more like, see a gap? Fill that gap, and get stuff done.
Jemma: We injected our penguins with lots of steroids
Have the relationships improved between the two armies since the conflicts?
Julia: Not really sure about this one. I don’t believe it got worse, but we’re certainly not allies anymore, and I don’t see that happening again soon.
Jemma: I thanked DW for the good war in community chat but beyond that I think we’ll remain as rivals.
Where will the Dark Warriors/Templars go from here? What can we expect out of DW/TCP within the upcoming months?
Julia: Ideally, great things. We’ve got a great new motivated team, and we’re hoping to keep going up! We’ve got cool projects planned, our anniversary is coming up, and many more things in store!
Jemma: More wars and multilogging.
Despite the hard-fought battles by the Templars, they will have to go back to the drawing board after this bout. The Dark Warriors proved stronger this time around and have demonstrated their unwaveringness in the face of adversity. With much to celebrate and learn from on both sides, it will be exciting to see how the armies move on from this. What were your thoughts on the war?
