BREAKING NEWS: On September 9, two armies announced the end of their alliances with the Templars. In this post, we will dive into the situation and look at why this has happened.

Before we get to the armies’ announcements regarding the breaking of the alliances, let’s first take a look at the history of the two that ended today. The first one was between the Dark Warriors and the Templars, named the Dark Knight Alliance. The second one was between the Aliens and the Templars.
Dark Knight Alliance
The alliance between the two armies was made on January 3, 2026. This happened the week following the Templars’ rise to Major status once again. Additionally, at the time, TCP had also won the Small Medium section of the Christmas Chaos XV the previous month, in a battle where they faced the Dark Warriors and Romans. In that battle, they managed to overcome DW and Romans and win two rooms, tying one with DW.

The two armies had faced each other once again in battle during the Second Reckoning War. The war originally started with the Void Troops, who declared war on the Templars. The war escalated quickly, with the People’s Imperial Confederation joining on the Templars’ side, while the Dark Warriors and the Romans supported VT. VT managed to win the war after 18 battles, claiming the Templars’ capital and force treating them.
Despite the battles between them, the two armies decided to form an alliance as they grew closer to each other over time, naming it the Dark Knight Alliance. During the alliance, the Dark Warriors also became a major army on March 1. The two armies have held practice battles together and have assisted each other by attending events. They also faced each other in the Around the World Cup III group stage, where the Templars won a room, with the other two being tied.
The End of the Alliance
After 8 months of being allied with the TCP, the Dark Warriors announced its termination on September 9 at 6:32 pm EST. As the main reason for this action, they state the Templars’ multilogging. The day before, Club Penguin Armies released a very lengthy Spotlight post with all the findings from their investigation on the Templars. The conclusion was that they multilogged a large number of events on Club Penguin Journey with many accounts each time. The full post can be found here.
The Dark Warriors also state that the Templars mocked and insulted them when they asked them about the multilogging case, which only made the situation worse. The full announcement can be seen below.

Templars – Aliens Alliance
The Templars – Aliens alliance was more recent, as it was formed this year in the middle of April. When the alliance started, both armies were Major. The Templars had recently received third place in March Madness XI. The Aliens had participated in a war, which they surrendered shortly after, supporting the Scarlet Republic against the Army of Club Penguin and Water Vikings. The alliance was announced right after a practice battle between the two armies. In the interview section, the army leaders stated that the alliance had been in talks for a while. It eventually happened as the armies’ goals aligned, and they also got closer to each other. The two armies were also both allied with the Dark Warriors.

Ever since the alliance began, the two armies have participated in mutual practice battles and supported each other in events. A notable example would be the recent practice battle on July 11, which was interrupted by an ACP raid. In general, TCP has been involved in two wars since the beginning of the alliance. They declared the first one in April against WV, on the map, which they ended up losing and getting force treated. In the same month, ACP declared an off-map raid war on them, with multiple raids taking place. At the same time, the Aliens isolated themselves more and more from the community, entering an almost full isolation on August 3.
The End of the Alliance
Eventually, they announced the end of the alliance on September 9, 6:34 pm EST. According to their announcement, the reasons behind it were the TCP multilogging case and their messages to the Dark Warriors. They requested that their members not spread hate toward the Templars and designated TCP as a neutral army. The Dark Warriors and the Aliens remain allies.

CPA reached out to Julia, Dark Warriors leader, Ellie, Templars leader, and Sheriff, Aliens leader, to learn more about the situation. At the time of the post, Sheriff has not responded, so his answers are not included. If he responds, his answers will be added.
What were the reasons behind the termination of the alliance?
Julia: With the release of CPA’s investigation on the Templars of CP, leadership understood that we needed to take this allegations extremely seriously since they pertained to one of our at-the-time allies. Each one of us read the article in full, had a discussion and decided to reach out to Templars. We were met with an instantaneous screenshot of one of our events with a smaller than usual max. They immediately insulted our size. We don’t wish to associate with an army that’s willing to insult us, or cheat to inflate their own sizes.
Do you think the alliance was beneficial at all while it lasted?
Julia: No comment.
Will DW take any extra measures after ending the alliance?
Julia: That is yet to be seen.
How do you think this alliance termination will affect DW?
Julia: We don’t wish to associate with cheaters. We’d rather not be seen in cahoots with them. So, well.

What was your reaction upon finding out that DW and Aliens terminated their alliances with TCP?
Ellie: Was not shocked at all, it was an inevitability
How do you think this will affect the Templars?
Ellie: This will have absolutely zero effect on us, these alliances offered us nothing to start with and, especially in the case of DW was completely parasitic, with them leeching off of us and offering nothing in return, all while flaunting their own egos.
Do you think the alliances had been beneficial at all while they lasted?
Ellie: I’m sure at some point they were, and in the case of Aliens there have been a lot of good things that have come from it. However, I can say that from my entire time since coming back to the community, DW and Aliens have done nothing but put us down all while offering zero support to us when we needed it most.
While DW wants to say that we insulted them, they don’t tell the full story. We have spent months receiving backhanded criticism and insults from their entire leadership, even at one point telling us to “get our shit together” while we were actively being raided, a situation which they did NOT offer any support for. They can paint the narrative all they want to say they’ve done nothing wrong, but the truth will come out soon. In the case of Aliens there is a lot of grievances, however they involve more private situations and will not be used to fuel army drama unless the person or persons it affects wish to speak on it themselves.
