This month, the Media Department is bringing some changes to its columns. In this post, we will explore these community-driven changes because we are the community’s premier reporting outlet.

This summer, the Reporting Team saw a major internal overhaul, featuring changes that aimed at improving writing quality. For our viewership, Club Penguin Armies delivered state-of-the-art coverage of news that transpired during The Twentieth Summer. We wish to continue improving our content further and consistently build the image of the reporting outlet exactly in the way the community wishes to see. Based on the suggestions given for this season’s Quality Check, these changes were formulated through consensus within the team. Without further ado, let us look at the changes introduced.
Updated Columns
As wished by the army community, we are bringing satirical content back as general posts. Satire will no longer exist as a column and will continue being published as a regular piece, as it had been since the dawn of the organization. In addition, the Leaving A Legacy column is currently being retired, as we wait for more historical faces to show up in the army community. Hence, the Reporting Team will now focus more deeply on the six remaining columns, delivering well-researched and informative articles.
In addition, we will publish columns throughout the week instead of concentrating them on the weekend. This way, you will stay entertained for the entire week. See you every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday!

For the last few months, we have been actively working on a surprise for the army community. What we are working on is unprecedented and should invite community engagement. It will create a bridge between reporting and the community, without forgetting our vision of quality journalism. Stay tuned!

On top of all of this, all post thumbnails used on the website will shift from the CPA 20 thumbnail design to the regular design by the end of the month.
