Club Penguin Armies – 2026.1 Quality Check

On June 30, we asked the army community to leave the Administration some feedback, questions, and criticism. Now, it is time to visit what the community has to say.

Designed by Master DS

The current Administration, alongside its departments, has been working tirelessly to ensure the best comes to the community. Nonetheless, no staff team is perfect. We want to ensure Club Penguin Armies is still in touch with the desires of the army community. Therefore, continuing the trend of periodically conducting a Quality Check, we have decided to divulge a new iteration of it. Once more, the community was asked to evaluate CPA’s departments and give them some suggestions.

Furthermore, we boldly proposed to answer ALL serious and appropriate questions/feedback that we received. And so we did. Our department heads also cooperated with the Administration in this process. Thus, we already thank you for all the 72 responses we received and answered.

Without further ado, let us embark on this quality check.

Were da best, more riddles and more future activities

We’ll be trying to add more activities, such as VC events, and more in the future, yes.

Polls an Qotd are bland

I’m sorry to hear that, we will try in the future to do more unique Polls and QOTDs.

Keep doing your job

Thank you!

Everyone is very welcoming

Appreciate that!

make more activities for CPA ppl like CPAL dous

We’re trying to add more activities to do!

Engagement has increased drastically

It has! We’re very glad.

Amazing people. I’m a part of it, it’s very fun!
W CC member
love the riddles even tho i dont send any

Post some riddles. /j Glad that you enjoy the riddles!!

You are doing an amazing job, thank you for entertaining us all year.

Thank you so much!!

Please stop running CPA like its an army, community events only work if there are big friendgroups that are willing to participate (which out of january’s and may’s attemp we can conclude has a percentage of happening as big as edu’s odds of growing hair).
You’re not wrong, but we still always try to do community events because people do enjoy them.
I love CC
I love CC too! (Very glad that you love CC)

GRAPHICS DEPARTMENT

Answered by Head of Branding Master DS

More funny poses

As fun as it is to draw funny poses for thumbnails, it also largely depends on the subject of the post.

Keep doing your job mainly YOU DINO

You heard that, Dino, hehe? Jokes aside, Dino is mostly busy with other parts of the CPA staff team, so he does not really have time to help with the day-to-day of the graphics department.

The graphics team is doing great as always, but there is a seemingly increasing disparity in style and skill level within the work created by the team. Additionally, why does the administration regularly use AI for graphics and other facets of running the community when it has such a large, skilled team at their disposal?

Thank you for the encouragement; to answer your question about the disparity in art style, we have many members in our department, each with different art styles. Some of them are illustrators, and some of them are simply graphic designers. Though we try to maintain the same standard for all our graphics, there will inevitably be some visible differences in the output.

Regarding AI use, our Head of Branding ensures that our talented staff does not use such resources. However, in three specific instances, the Administration did use AI to generate illustrations. Considering the purpose of the illustrations was of unofficial character, we felt these would not hurt our policy against AI in official league branding. The occurrences were: an AI illustration for a Happy Easter announcement, a meme representing CPA in the GTA VI official artwork, and an illustration of the current administration team, which was used for comic purposes in an announcement. Apart from these situations, we are absolutely mindful of when to use AI for image generation, as the administration must also abide by the Head of Branding’s policies. (written by Edu14463)

We need people besides Thalia & Master DS to step up and do something ( VESTA is an expectation as he participates occasionally )

We try to hire designers as much as we possibly can, but the number of artists willing to commit is very low and so we are found lacking in members at times. Also, many have IRL commitments that might prevent them from participating full time in the team. Nonetheless, we will try get as many committed members as possible to deliver to you the best quality graphics.

Pretty good

W graphics

Master Ds is very good

not really suggestion yall are doing it good!

moderation DEPARTMENT

Answered by Head Moderator Vivala

For ams: ily
For bp: pls actually pick someone who can mod PROPERLY because istg some mods are just full of empty threats
For Lort: i hate u.
About empty threats. Valid, I think we can provide some guidance/remind mods to avoid empty warns. While warning a person verbally first or giving an official warn can be good, we will remind mods that if a person is continuing afterwards, that action can and should be taken instead of just 10 more warns.

it’s okay I guess

Coolioz

Be less strict with memes

The invention of the i am unfunny role is the biggest thing they’ve done.

Theres a saying, that you can’t please everyone. Some people are happy with the unfunny role being a thing. Others will say they are unhappy about the unfunny role. While I don’t want to seem dismissive of any critiques or suggestions, this seems like a case where u can’t please everyone. If general public opinion on the meme channel changes, we can revisit as needed though.

W moderators, good with muting SL nerds after they came to yap about their victory

Coolioz thanks!

Unsatisfactory and seems to thrive off following rules based on a vibe system. Reguarly allows inherently problematic people to remain in the community

Regarding the “Regularly allows inherently problematic people to remain in the community”, please feel free to reach out to either of the head mods about this, our dms are open if there is someone you think is like a danger to the community or something. Let us know who and how they’re inherently problematic and we can absolutely have a discussion about it. The following rules based on a vibe thing: we have been working on making some rules more standardized and less dependent on the situation or relationship between those saying it.

great

Thanks

good moderation, could be slightly tighter

Thank you, and noted!

don’t mute for no reason

Agreed, and if that is happening, please feel free to DM either head mod.

Social media DEPARTMENT

Answered by Head of Social Media BEASTO

The Social Media Department is planning to expand and improve further! We are currently working on revamping the department, uploading new types of content, make Klondike After Hours a permanent thing on the channel. Hopefully, we also intend to make new changes regarding the Heads of the Department; we are currently working on training both Rye and Klombe to succeed me at leading the Social Media Department. Lastly, there are some great plans in secret being worked on, maybe a podcast and more and more. Let us just say that great things are coming to the Department!

TOP TEN COMMITTEE

Answered by Top Ten Manager Moon

Keep doing your job

Bueno

Thanks, great to hear!

As a TTC member i suggest making the timings more EU friendly since yall keep pinging me at 3 am
it’s better already, but seeing tcp multilogging scandal, you guys must enforce strict rules for rogue, for eg the usernames should not be hid during picture submission

As TTC heads we try our best to accommodate as many timezones as possible. With that being said, we’ll keep that in mind when we ping for assignments in the future. And as for the TCP multilogging scandals and other regulations for rouges, there will be guidelines released that will address these concerns.

More strict on numbers submissions as some armies are obviously multilogging and feel as if they can get away with it due to no real reprocussions.

As in limiting the amount of events an army can host/submit? That’s something for the admins to decide and you should bring it up during the board meetings.

maybe release how yall calculate the TT (non serious answer)

We’ll release if for the Krabby Patty recipe.

Fix your colors, some army colors are completely different from the ones in CPA posts

Apologies! We try to get as close as we can with the default colors on WordPress, if there’s any corrections needed feel free to DM either TTC heads.

AMAZING JOB, GUYS! BUT KEEP UP W DATES. I’M ALWAYS EXPECTING TT TO COME OUT ON SUNDAY SHARP.

You’re doing amazing work, please continue to reach out to leaders for size verification.

Thank you!

work better
??? #watdatmean.
Keep counting but lowk thats about it, the season top tens are nice tho, could use some medals or smth idk
That could be an idea discussed at a board meeting. 🙂
We’re still yet to see the transparency promised around the formula and how it works. More positively, the quarterly top ten is a really good idea.
Transparency over the formula was never promised unfortunately, only the guidlines and regulations.
Overall good
Glad to hear!

Yall keep a good post. More satire next

Hey there. Thank you for that! For satire, we have already boosted the number of satirical posts by introducing satire as a fortnightly column. In addition to that, we have been collecting satire suggestions, and we have already been organizing a schedule of satire posts!

W Krill

Interesting. W to you as well.

You don’t need to make 99 posts a month to stay relevant

Hey. I see where you are coming from, and you are not entirely wrong! At the Media Department, we value both quantity and quality, and we have been improvising on that part much more lately. We are committed to providing a lot of information to the community, while keeping it solid and concise. And, we’ll continue to improve!

try to finish off work within 2-3 days dragging them just feels uhhh

Hello! We do try to get posts out in less than 2–3 days, and we have been more particular about that lately. We are getting on track, and the pendency of posts is being reduced. Thank you for your concern. We will be working toward it!

im in it but make EVEN more reports that isnt abt news

Hey there, fellow Reporter. We have been bringing non-news posts to the platter lately as well. In fact, you can feel free to write a non-news article as well! Just let the Reporting Heads know about your idea, and we’ll see what we can do to transform it into reality. Can’t wait to see what you suggest.

Too focused on producing slop articles with a focus on quantity rathed than quality

Hi there. I understand what you mean! However, in the past month, we have been placing as much emphasis on quality as well. Gradually, the quality of our posts is becoming more professional, leaving quantity out of the question!

AMAZINGGGGGGGG!!!! 👏

Thank you! Are you interested in being a Reporter, if you’re not already?

i dont read posts but great work i assume cuz i was there

Interesting, fellow Reporter. Glad you liked it, fellow non-reading writer.

Good work, sometimes hope some posts were released sooner but we all are very aware that people have a life.

Hello there. Thank you for your understanding! While some members of the Media Department are busy with life, some of us can write posts. This summer, we are aiming for a full recovery with the Department reaching its highest potential.

you is not naruto shipudden with the filler posts

Greetings of the day. That’s understandable, since you might be interested in more relevant news posts, and rightly so! As a media organization, we do publish analytical, research-based, or things-worth-thinking-about posts. However, this does not mean that we sway away from general news articles! Rather, we aim to make the community more open-minded through the publication of such “filler” posts.

Not enough flair with thumbnail titles, and please get actually interesting new stuff to air, just make it short to read or just easy to digest and maybe funny and im sure it will work in some way.

Hey there, we heard you! More recently, we have started gathering large collections of interesting new posts that might interest you. Of course, feel free to reach out to the Reporting Heads for any ideas of your own. As for the readability part, we know what you want now — something easy to digest and humorous!

administration

The Administration Reached a 63.33% Approval Rate

Whilst CPA dodged a bullet with the attempted oppositional Legends Cup, the fact that this was even a minor threat to begin with is definitely concerning. We can’t predict how things will shape up in December and 2027. Legacy tournaments shouldn’t be political matters (this goes both ways obviously), and no one benefits from CPA/other organizations hosting different iterations of a legacy tournament.
To ensure Legacy tournaments remain as impartial/fairly organized, the Club Penguin Army Wiki released a policy on tournament classification for historical matters. While we can’t prevent a hypothetical organization from hosting a tournament with the same name as a legacy one, we applaud the scrutiny promoted by the wiki regarding this subject.
CPA should look to communicate with the S/Ms, specifically in regards to remedy any concerns. CPA is already doing this to some extent now which is good, but this should be continued (and furthered) for future tournaments as so S/Ms don’t feel disenfranchised.
Yes, this is in the plans, and we have already taken some (not yet public) actions to ensure that there is better communication. We are always open to hearing their concerns, and it can help us figure out what we can do to help them feel more integrated/not disadvantaged, while keeping things fair.
Otherwise, the map has been a smashing hit with S/Ms regularly warring too. Administration should look to do more with the map perhaps. HF and RPF currently sit on the map doing nothing, and whilst that isn’t any fault of CPA of course, it can be troublesome for wars. Not everyone wants to buy a navy or plane of course, and if they are roadblocks/aren’t contributing to the map, it can prolong conflict. Perhaps a new continent could help too.
The map is a huge discussion. It has been tailored based on how the armies wished over the past several months, yet it is still not as active as we would wish it was. SMs often bring activity, but it’s not continued by Majors, at least so far this year. The map currently also has the best design it has ever had, and it is mirrored in CPAB, which should theoretically boost it more. At a large scale, the issue exists due to a specific mentality, which is to avoid wars as much as possible and only participate in planned battles. At the same time, there are also armies who just stand there, as you said. We are always looking for ways to improve the map, without changing it too fast to the point people get lost on what is applied and what is not. The planes and ships were another thing that was voted unanimously by the army board last year, which is why it got implemented. It adds an extra element of strategy, but we see how it can make things more difficult. A new continent would not be a good addition right now, as there is still unoccupied free land.
More engaging events

Every event we host is hosted with the engagement of the community. In the past few months, we’ve worked closely with leaders to gather their opinion on our event ideas. Parallel to that, our Community Committee keeps finding ways to host more engaging events all the time. However, we are always open to suggestions on this matter!

Glazing yourself isn’t a good look
Highlighting the organization’s success and being proud about it is always a good look.
I believe the decision to deepen and strengthen relationships with complementary organizations has been a great, long-overdue choice and should be continued.
The only way to reach real and constructive unity is by keeping close dialogue with all of those who vibe with this community the same as ourselves. Our partnerships with CPAJ, CPAB and CPA Wiki show that we all walk towards the same goal of providing the best experience to all members. We look forward to seeing all of them thrive together with us.
Its good, we need more lore and army-community events
The lore is not something that the organisation can help much with; it’s mostly based on the armies. What we can do is provide more events to help with that. There are currently the Olympics running, and many more things are planned for August and September, both with the Community Committee and the 20 Years of CPA Committee. So prepare to be busy!
it’s more regulated, I would like to say get all those uncs off and let the young people handle
Renewing the faces in the community is a crucial step to keep the game updated to the exigencies of today’s CPA. However, this is a thing that should happen naturally inside the chain of command. We are sure that having experienced people at the helm is the best way to ensure the prosperity of CPA. This, of course, doesn’t mean old people will stick to power eternally, as we don’t share that vision.
I would like if you would add like a thing we’re you can rename the servers

Currently, this is not doable because the servers match the CPAB servers. It’s even less likely currently, since the map is featured on CPAB, so changing the server names is not something that is in the current plans.

I think armies are dying off cause they can’t be what they are named, Armies. When no one wants to fight each other or cause conflict the essence of what this community is withers away. The tournaments are a great interim solution for this, but in terms of groups being able to either become armies or retain their army name they should be held to requirements of being an army rather than just a cp community.

This is precisely our perspective.

Extremely poor administration which seems to function on the upkeep of their own egos rather than what’s best for the army community

We are sorry you feel that way. We would rather you elaborate with some examples. CPA always strives to do what is best for the army community. Even if you didn’t like the “Golden Age,” we try our best to take action to help the army community as much as possible. After all, without an army community, there is no CPA. If you have personal issues with someone, it’s best to resolve the situation with them.

It’s ok. I do wish more people had explanations on the reasons they got banned in the past.

This is more of a Moderating Team issue rather than an Administration one. Bans are always a sensitive matter; some people may not agree on them and their duration. We will try to coordinate with our Head Mod and ensure that there is a more detailed explanation of bans. There are some plans in the department to help with that as well.

Id like to see more competitions that actually toy with the armies, it feels like one in every 1,5 tournament the final is some army maxing 100 agaisnt 10,2 max

We did observe this tendency in previous tournaments. Administration has been discussing ways to bring more entertainment to armies, as well as innovations. Nonetheless, we also need armies to move and do something and act like real armies.

It’s complicated. In some respects things feel more stable than they have since pre-CPAH’s collapse, in other respects things feel very fragile. The community’s in one piece for the most part right now, but it’s going to take some vigilance and some work to keep it that way.

CPA is by far the most stable and successful CPPS League/Media Organization. For the well-being of the community, our main target is always to strive for stability within our organizational structure. Controversies are bound to happen in every administration. However, we are never backing down and giving up on delivering to our beloved community.

We want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who took the time to share their feedback with us. Your thoughts, concerns, and suggestions are incredibly valuable and play a vital role in shaping the future of CPA. We are constantly working behind the scenes to improve every aspect of our league, and your input helps guide that process. Moving forward, our department heads will begin implementing some of the suggestions we have received, as we want to make CPA even greater. The Aura Era is here, and more is yet to be delivered! The second half of 2026 will be promising! The best is yet to come.

As always, our direct messages on Discord are always open to hear more feedback directly from community individuals. Do you have any questions for the administrators?
