The Quarter-Final of this epic Challengers Cup concluded after four battles. This weekend, eight armies fought to obtain a place in the next round of the Challengers Cup, the Semi-Finals. Let’s dive into the results of these battles.
After the Legends Cup XVI concluded, the Small Medium Community was introduced to the CPA20 Challengers Cup, where all S/M armies that signed up competed to be crowned. It follows the single-elimination format, but with all the battles taking place in the span of 10 days. Let’s get into the results of the Quarter-Finals.
Shadow Legionnaires vs Abyssal Tides
The battle first started at 1:00 PM EDT on the 22nd of August 2026. As the first room was announced as Snow Forts, the Shadow Legionnaires were the winners as they maxed 15, while the Abyssal Tides failed to show up for the battle, automatically securing the Shadow Legionnaires a spot in the Semi-Finals.
Fire Warriors VS Star Force
The second battle also took place on the 22nd of August 2026, at 3:00 PM EDT. The first room was announced as Underground Pool. Fire Warriors dominated the whole 10 minutes, as Star Force wasn’t able to max more than 3. Thus, the Fire Warriors automatically won the battle and advanced to the Semi-Finals.
MASKED BANDITS VS MAGICIANS OF CLUB PENGUIN
The game started the next day, August 23rd, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST. Penguins first logged onto Ski Village in Klondike, but unfortunately, due to Magicians of Club Penguin not logging on for the battle, Masked Bandits automatically won the battle and advanced to the Semi-Finals.
Fire Vikings vs Snowwalkers of Club Penguin
The last battle of the Quarter-Finals took place on August 23rd, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST, with the starting room being Cove. Fire Vikings dominated the first ten minutes of the battle with a max of 7, while the Snowwalkers of Club Penguin maxed only 4. For the second room, the battle continued in the forest, with the Fire Vikings winning this room against Snowwalkers, keeping their dominance. Both armies went to Snow Forts for the third and last room of the battle. While Fire Vikings had the momentum in the first two rooms, the fire quickly extinguished when their max 7 became max 5. Surprisingly, with one less troop, the Snowwalkers won this room with their speed. After the only full battle of this round, Fire Vikings qualified for the Semi-Finals.
Four armies are now stepping closer to the trophy of the Challenger Cup. Althought many didn’t show, a lot of determination can be seen by the small-medium armies regarding this tournament. Who do you think will access the finals? Is the result the one you hoped for? Who will be the winner of this year’s Challenger Cup?
