The Aliens and the Dark Warriors collaborated and held a practice battle. Despite a small size gap, the results of this battle turned out to be interesting. Read on to see an in-depth analysis of the event and understand the two allies better.

On August 9, 2026, the Aliens and the Dark Warriors held a practice battle together in the EU time zone. On Battleground, the Aliens of Club Penguin maxed 27 penguins, while the Dark Warriors secured 21. This development comes only a month after the Aliens-Templars practice battle, which was raided by the Army of Club Penguin. In addition, the Aliens have also held multiple practice battles earlier this year. It is worth noting that the Aliens allied with DW in January this year.
This battle was judged by the Club Penguin Army Judges, and a summary of each room has been given below, from the judges’ perspective. The judges were Head Judge Sweater and Judge Stefan.
Room 1 – Forest
In the first room, Aliens had hit 23 troops, surpassing DW by just 2 troops. Aliens proceeded to make a plus, while DW made an upside-down V. Shortly, DW moved to a waterfall and formed another upside-down V, while the Aliens whirlpooled and formed a V. Unlike the Aliens’ formation, the Dark Warriors had a gap in their formation. After both armies bombed the room, DW formed a plus, and the Aliens formed an arrow. Overall, both armies were quick with their tactics and formations, but DW had less visibility. As a result of these observations, the Aliens secured this room’s score.

A glimpse of the first battle room
Room 2 – Dock
In the second room, Aliens reached 27 troops and formed a triangle. On the other hand, DW dropped down to 18, forming an upside-down T. Aliens had grown larger, while DW’s form still contained gaps. DW bombed and formed a T. The Aliens waterfalled to cover them, eventually forming an underlined plus. DW moved into a reversed L and was largely covered by the Aliens. Aliens kept the same formation but gained gaps in it, still looking larger. Aliens’ next formation was a “terrible” X. Following DW’s waterfall, they formed a question mark form. Aliens appeared larger in this room, and hence this room went to the Aliens.

A glimpse of the second battle room
Room 3 – Cove
In the final room, DW formed an upside-down T, while the Aliens tried to form a plus. However, some Alien troops were completely out of form, despite appearing larger. Throughout the room, sizes remained close to 27 for the Aliens, and 19 for DW. DW bombed, and then formed an upside-down V. It required a few minutes to fix DW’s form. The Aliens could not create a well-established form, but they seemed larger because they had troops everywhere in the room. DW bombed, then formed a Y. With the Aliens progressively getting messier with their forms, the last room resulted in a tie.

A glimpse of the third battle room
Based on these results, the Aliens triumphed with a score of 2-0-1 [W-L-T]. The two armies managed to finish the battle in 30 minutes without requiring overtime. DW managed to enter every room quicker than the Aliens, leaving them at an advantage. On the other hand, the Aliens were able to seem larger in each room.
The judges noted that the Aliens made good use of their size and they were creative with formations. On the other hand, DW had some moments where they appeared fast. However, the judges also noted that DW should have paid attention to how frequently they change formations and avoid bunching. Additionally, the Aliens had troops out of formation at different moments. Do you expect the performance gap between the two armies to narrow in the future?
