Today’s Top Ten is a special one. One that has not been seen before in the history of the organisation. In this Top Ten, we will examine how armies have performed throughout the entire organisation’s history, celebrating the four years of Club Penguin Armies.

Introduction
Today, it is the fourth anniversary of the Club Penguin Armies. It only felt right to include a Top Ten along with the other celebrations. All 48 Top Tens of the Month in the history of the organisation have been included in this Top Ten and merged to make a combined historical CPA Top Ten. Luckily, for 2023, 2024, and 2025, the Top Ten of the Month scores were combined in the Top Ten of the Year posts. For 2022, I had to add the Top Tens after CPA was founded, and for 2026, I used the data from the Q1 Top Ten and the latest 3 TTOTMs. I present to you the Club Penguin Armies Top Ten. Time to see which armies left the biggest mark on our organisation.

Legend
Here is a small explanation of the symbols and the categories above.
The Score column contains the total points gathered across all 48 TTOTMs per army.
The Years column gives the number of years the army has been active. Anniversary or celebratory events when the army was closed weren’t counted in that category. 2022 and 2026 are counted as half-years, given there were 6 months in 2022 and 6 in 2026. If an army shut down or opened in the course of a year, it was counted as active for that year.
The Class column states whether the army ever reached Major status, or not. Major armies have a star ★ in this category, while armies that never reached Major have a ○ symbol.
Currently active armies have a ♠ symbol next to their name.
Special Statistics
- A total of 108 armies have hosted events in the history of the four years of Club Penguin Armies.
- The Rebel Penguin Federation managed to gain the most points despite being the #1 army only on the TTOTY of 2025.
- On the other side, despite their legendary run in 2022, the Templars are ranked fourth.
- The Army of Club Penguin has had the most #1 in the TTOTYs, gaining the spot in 2023, 2024, and so far in 2026.
- Only 11 points separate the first, RPF, from the second, Army of Club Penguin.
- ACP achieved the highest score in these four years. It happened this year, with them gathering 99.14 points in the third week of February.
- The largest recorded size, by an active army, was also achieved by ACP this year. It was 129 during the March Madness XI finals.
- The overall largest recorded size was achieved by the Ice Warriors, maxing 139. This happened in Mogi‘s retirement event, long after the former army had ceased its activities and continued as a gaming community.
- The Templars hold the longest #1 consecutive streak, of 25 weeks, since the organisation opened. It was part of their famous almost-one-year full domination in the Top Tens. The Army of Club Penguin could reach this record in a few weeks, currently having 17 consecutive weeks of being #1. Additionally, RPF’s 16 consecutive #1 streak ended at the beginning of this year.
- The Shadow Legionnaires is the highest-ranked army that has never been a major.
- On the other hand, the Void Troops is the lowest-ranked Major, which is explained given their comparatively short-lived generation, which started from scratch.
- 4 Armies haven’t shut down at any point in the four years. These are RPF, ACP, TCP and the Help Force.
- One army has never fallen to Small Medium in these 4 years, the Rebel Penguin Federation.
- The year with the most armies hosting events was 2025, with 56 armies. 2026 could break that, though, since there are already 48 unique armies that have hosted at least an event.
- On the other hand, the year with the fewest armies was 2023, with 20.
- Out of the 108 armies, 73 have gotten more than 20 points. 51 have gathered more than 50, and 33 more than 100. The Top 5 are all above 3000 points, while there are only nine armies with more than 1000.
- The army that gathered the most points was RPF in 2025. If the entire 2022 was included, before the creation of CPA, that army would be TCP.
- ACP got more points in 2025 than in 2023, despite getting second place in 2025 and first in 2023.
- The SM armies that has gotten the highest rank within a year (as SMs) were the People’s Imperial Confederation and the Special Weapons and Tactics, both ranking 8 in 2023 and 2024, respectively. If we also count half-years, then the Shadow Legionaries and the Lime Green Army can also be considered, as they also ranked 8 in 2026 and 2022, respectively.
- The lowest number of points has been achieved by the Lunar Vikings in 2025, and its remake Lunar Troops of Club Penguin, in 2026, with each of them hosting events only in one week and gaining four points in total.
- As expected, the most points in total, were gathered in 2025, with a sum of 9959 points. 2026 so far has 4962 points gathered, so at this rate it will just fall short of the 2025 number.

It should be noted here that the comparisons are done with the 2025 Top Ten of the Year numbers.
In 2026, we see a change in the top army with the Army of Club Penguin claiming this spot so far. The Templars are performing better compared to last year, having gone up by 3 places. On the other hand, the Aliens and the Help Force have experienced a small drop, while the Water Vikings is the only army that remains steady in its rank. The last four armies saw a large increase in their placement because they opened in the middle of last year, so, as expected, they were ranked lower than other armies. This, combined with some of the armies above them shutting down, helped them increase their placement by a lot. There will be a more thorough statistical analysis of the armies trends for this year in the Q2 2026 Top Ten, which will also be released during this month.
Shoutout to all the Top Ten Committee members, Top Ten Managers, and Administrators over the past four years. Through their efforts, the Top Tens are being released on time throughout all Sundays of these years. Which army surprised you the most? Did you like this special edition Top Ten? Did you expect the rankings to look like that? What would you like to see next?
