This lasted for about a week, when Justin defaced the VT server after disagreeing with some of the army’s actions.

The final battles of the Around the World Cup 2 tournament took place on June 7. The Scarlet Republic faced the Templars in the SM section, with the latter ones winning in overtime. The leader who posted the announcement, Callisto, hinted that the merge would be temporary, with the army possibly returning in the future.

Changes in the Fire Vikings
On July 17, the army creator, Yellow Typer, announced his retirement from his army. This had come after 3 months of leading it, as he states in his retirement announcement, with him gaining an advisory role from then on. In his place, Zuj0t got promoted and became the new FV emperor.

On July 23, Doritos announced an immediate shutdown. This came after a period of decline, which originally got them to become an SM army in June and then brought them even further down. The announcement was made after Megs decided to retire from the army. It was written and posted by DCP Legend Mustapha10.

In the interview section they reveal that their inductions meant a lot to them and presented their aims and goals for the army.
A New Addition in TCP That Did Not Last
On August 13, Dawnables became a TCP leader once again. It was a silent change, without an announcement for it. She had previously led the army in 2022, going through wars and tournaments, becoming an Empress and eventually stepping down in the summer of 2024. Her return did not last long, as a bit more than two weeks later, she announced her retirement.
A Change in the Scarlet Republic
On August 17, Annie stepped down from her SR leadership role. This came after she became inactive due to real life commitments. She was awarded the Legend title in the army for her great recruiting efforts, by the SR leader Ghostt.
A Coup in the Templars
On August 29, Billy Bawb, a TCP leader before that time, was removed from his position. In the interview section of the post TCP leader Moon states that Billy was inactive and thus had to be removed. She also mentioned that his removal would be in better terms had he not tried to switch the narrative. She stated that it was planned for a while and TCP would eventually find new leaders to replace him. Billy said that his removal was not in good terms and he disagreed with the decision. He claimed that he was active and committed, unlike what TCP stated. He stated that he would not change anything if he could go back, as he accomplished most of his aims for the army.
A Stepdown in the Romans
On August 29, Monstah retired from his position as a Romans leader. He had been a leader and an army co owner for over a month. They wanted to rebuild and restore it over time to reach its former glory and then be able to pass it down.
Wars
VT Joins Another War
This time, VT declared war on TCP. The war that started on August 2 was labelled as the Divine Reckoning and together with it came the dissolution of the alliance between the 2 armies. There was much tension in the war with the Void Troops, claiming the Templars betrayed them and slandered their name. Nine days later, the war ended with VT winning 15 of the battles, with the Templars only winning once. There was controversy in the ending of the war, as the final battle’s result was overturned after a review. It was originally considered a TCP win, but after the HJs reviewed it, they overturned it into a VT win, with VT issuing their force treaty later on.

Green vs Green
On August 11, the Army of Club Penguin declared war on the Aliens, naming it Operation 51. They stated that the reason behind the declaration was the Aliens’ troopstealing attempts, as well as the Aliens being known as the “Green Army” in the Club Penguin Journey community. The Aliens responded to the accusations with a post, with ACP responding back again, which raised the tension even more. Despite that, the war was very one sided. The Aliens was the first army in several years to schedule an invasion on Mammoth after occupying all the other land ACP owned. The last invasion had to be pushed back due to connection issues. Eventually, Aliens won it, force treating ACP, winning 16 battles of the war and tying 1 with ACP having 0 wins.

Aliens vs ACP
On August 25, in a surprising event, the Water Vikings declared war on the Templars, titled as Multilog Mayhem. This came after a long rivalry between the armies that has been going on for years. The Templars were still recovering from their war with the Void Troops and only had 1 server in their ownership, which WV was easily able to get. After that, they issued a force treaty to TCP.

Classification Changes

Summer Blitz
On August 10, Club Penguin Armies presented the Summer Blitz. It was a map tourney for SM armies only – the first one of its kind in CPA’s history. It had similar rules to Project Conquest: Blood Bowl, like the adjacent land one, but without some of its complications. More about the tourney and who ended up winning it can be found here.
There were a lot of events taking place throughout the summer. Did you enjoy this recap post? How many of those did you remember? Which war was your favorite? Which leadership induction and which retirement? Out of all of them, which alliance do you think had the most effect?
