The Dark Warriors are one of the most dignified and historic armies the community has ever seen, known for the sheer volume of impact they’ve made. In recent times, they have unexpectedly experienced a resurgence under a triumvirate, with another leader, Kyle104, at its core. Today, we explore Kyle104’s past and look at what he plans to bring to the Dark Warriors in the future.

HISTORY
Kyle104, occasionally referred to as Justin, first joined armies in the year 2012, where he enlisted himself in the Special Weapons and Tactics under the leadership of Ganger90. It was 2014 when he acquired invaluable information, which he later used to boost his skills in armies. He also served as a leader in the Dark Warriors (2015), held the position of 3rd-in-Command in the Smart Penguins, was 4th-in-Command in the Ice Warriors, 3rd-in-Command in the Rebel Penguin Federation, and most notably became leader of the Templars in January 2019, a role he held until March 2021.
Throughout his history, he encountered many influential and controversial figures such as Xing, Brownpen4, Venom, Logical, and others. In 2024, Kyle104 returned to the community by rejoining the Templars to fight against the Secret Service during August and September. He later assisted the Rebel Alliance Commando, an army originally founded in 2017 that became known as one of the first few armies to be classified as a CPPS army. The RACP made swift decisions, allying with SWAT, and the day after unexpectedly declared war – later known as the War of Spectral Siege – on the Phantom Republic, a newly emerging army. The PR ultimately surrendered to the RACP, ending in a decisive score of 8-0-2. The Rebels would soon enough merge with the Agents.

Turmoil in Leadership
ALLEGIANCE WITH VOID TROOPS
On the 27th of April 2025, an army by the name of Void Troops established its presence in the army community. The army was initially commanded by Kyle104 alongside Logical. In their opening event, they reached well over 20+ in size. Both of these individuals have been phenomenal in leading armies, notably Logical, who was a prominent figure in the Secret Service much before and later the Doritos of Club Penguin. The Void Troops offered their friendship to the Templars and restructured their core components significantly, with thriving staff in the army.
The Void Troops have been a fruitful force in the community ever since their opening, as they declared war on the Doritos, who were currently under a different leadership after Doritos’ primary leader Kira departed from the army and ultimately won. Many seasoned veterans and active troops from distinct armies joined the Void Troops, and Ugly especially joined the leadership – a former leader of the Army of Club Penguin, who was inducted as the Person of the Year 2024 and held the Silver Medal in the Clovers, awarded by CSY – an Army Legend who revolutionized the AUSIA division during his time.
The Void Troops’ participation in the recent establishment of Around The World Cup II was nothing short of dominance, as they beat thunderous contenders in different stages of the tournament. However, when they reached the Grand Finales of the tournament, their plans were overshadowed by an Executive Statement post declared by Edu14463, which stated that the Void Troops had broken ban-evading regulations and had allowed a controversial figure’s presence in the tournament, and ultimately were disqualified from the tournament and faced Top Ten deductions.

DARK WARRIORS REVIVAL
On the 5th of July 2025, the Dark Warriors came back into existence and are currently led by Holo2, Subzero, and Coolguy. Before this generation was instated, the Dark Warriors had won major tournaments such as Christmas Chaos II, Champions Cup III, Christmas Chaos IV, and in 2020, they were one of the most metamorphosed powerhouses. Under this new administration, the new generation leaders plan on bringing back its glory and dominating the tournament and war scene. On the 7th of July, Subzero announced that they would officialize Kyle104 as a commander of the Dark Warriors.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to Kyle104 to engage in his future plans and his work towards the army.
I. Congratulations on becoming an official Dark Warriors commander! What does your new role mean to you personally?
Becoming an official Commander of the Dark Warriors is more than just a title. It’s a full-circle moment for me. This army shaped a lot of my early CPA life, and I return now with the passion and experience that I’ve gained over the years. To me, this position means redemption, legacy, and an opportunity to lead DW to a new generation of conquest. I’m not here to relive history I’m here to rewrite it.
II. Prior to this generation, the Dark Warriors enjoyed significant tournament success. How do you intend to restore that level of dominance?
The Dark Warriors were once feared on the battlefield, and I intend to restore the fear. Dominance isn’t gained by numbers it’s gained by strategy, coordination, and perpetual pressure. I will strive to establish discipline, recruit smart, and train hard. With the right battles, the right companions, and the right mindset, we will make DW a force to be accounted for again in tournaments. This has nothing to do with nostalgia it has everything to do with building something even greater than we were
III. How do you want to broaden the army’s numbers and improve its presence on the tournament and warfare scene?
I’m not here to babysit numbers I’m here to build a storm. DW’s presence will be impossible to ignore. We’ll push recruitment hard, lock in discipline, and dominate the battlefield until our name strikes pressure into the community again. I don’t care who’s watching we’re not playing nice. Every tournament, every war, every event—we’re showing up, outshining, and overpowering. Dark Warriors aren’t coming back quietly. We’re kicking the door down and taking what’s ours, we are a power team and will be a problem for every army so watch out.
IV. In your view, what will be the biggest challenge facing the new generation of Dark Warriors?
The biggest task will be erasing doubt. Everyone thinks DW’s best days are behind but they have forgotten who we are. It is not hype that takes to rebuild from the ground up but hunger, loyalty, and relentless effort. Unless this generation stays focused, we will end fold under the pressure. But if my mates want it as badly as I do which I know they do, we’ll shut all of the doubters up and build DW’s dominance one brick at a time. No excuses, just results
V. Finally, what message do you want to communicate to existing and prospective Dark Warriors about your vision for the future?
To every Dark Warrior old and new and to be this is your call to wake up. We’re not here to play around. We’re here to take over. I want an army that doesn’t retreat when pushed, one that shines in the mess and battles hell to make an impact. My vision is a Dark Warriors that overwhelms the battlefield and owns the narrative. If you’re ready to rise, there’s a place for you. If not then get out of the way. BURN THE LIGHT!
The resurrection of the Dark Warriors and the appointment of Kyle104 as leader have opened up a new chapter full of hope, as he embarks on the trip alongside his companions. It is to be seen whether he preserves the values established by the founders, given his invaluable experience directing armies. Only time will tell whether this era continues in the original form or deviates.
