October 17 is an important day for the People’s Imperial Confederation. It is the date it was initially founded in 2019. In this post, we will provide a brief recap of PIC’s history, as well as the events they hosted to celebrate their anniversary.

PIC History
The People’s Imperial Confederation was founded on October 17, 2019, by Sidie9. That was done with the assistance of Sirproditor, who later became the second leader of PIC. Ever since, the army has had a rich history. It has become a pillar of the Small-Medium army community, being an important S-M force.
The Generations
Generation 1
The army has had 5 generations in total. The first one started as soon as the army was established and lasted for a month. Even though it was short lived, the army had an important influence on the community. Throughout its time, it became one of the creators and part of the Crimson Night Alliance and also faced the Army of Club Penguin in a war.
Generation 2
The second generation started in March 2020, topping the previous generation’s achievements. It had become a notable force within the community, participating in tournaments and wars, including World War Rewritten. Eventually, the generation ended in August of the same year with PIC merging with the Water Troops and forming Tamales.
Generation 3
The third generation began in January 2021. It lasted longer than the previous generations, with PIC reaching new peaks. Throughout this generation, PIC became a consistent force in the community, participating in many wars, including World War VIII and several tournaments. Eventually the army shut down 1 year later after it had reopened.
Generation 4
The first PIC generation in the Club Penguin Armies era started in February 2023. It has been the longest lasting generation of the army. It once again was a predominant Small Medium army in the community. Throughout it, PIC had a large influence in the community. Just a few months after its reopening, it joined the Sapphire Concordat and participated in World War IX.
Additionally, the army won Beach Brawl III against the Friendly Gamers and the Special Weapons and Tactics. It went on to win two more back-to-back SM trophies, the New Year Bonanza and the Around the World Cup. The army also joined several wars, some of them being alliance wars. Eventually, it became a major army, reaching record-breaking sizes, before dropping again. In November 2024, Scars of Club Penguin merged into PIC, making it stronger again. Finally, the generation ended this April, after controversies and internal matters surrounded it.
Generation 5
The most recent and current generation of the army started on June 30. Initially, Iso/Taro led it, with Caitlin joining the leadership shortly after. The army was not able to accomplish anything great initially. On August 31, there was a leadership change, with the old leadership having quit silently, Scars, Sweater and Villa became apart of the new one.
Ever since, the army has been consistently active. It has also formed several alliances and joined wars, such as the most recent one against the Phantom Republic of Club Penguin, which they won. Additionally, it was part of The White Order alliance that declared war and fought against the Rebel Penguin Federation last month. PIC also managed to get high ranking in the weekly Top Ten, being fifth recently. The army has also registered in the October Horrors tournament that is happening this week and will be participating in the SM section of it.

Anniversary Celebrations
The army had scheduled an anniversary event, labeled the Sidies Gala, for October 17, the date the army originally opened. The event also contained an awards ceremony. The community, members, allies, visitors, had been able to vote in the awards for around the past week before the anniversary. The results of the voting were announced during the event, in the newly renovated CPA: Battleground Stage. There was an increase in activity in PIC throughout that day, with members of the army and other people of the general community celebrating the anniversary.
PIC’s 6th anniversary event
In the event, PIC managed to get 21 people online. After the form results were announced, there were awards being given out to people who had contributed in the latest PIC achievements. The rewards included member promotions, several medals and a Hall of Fame update. Specifically, Armenzia was “promoted” to a Legend in the Confederation’s Hall of Fame. From all of the above, it seems like the anniversary event was an ePIC one.
