The Birth of the White Order

The community was rocked by one of the most severe events in recent history. In a move that serves to kickstart a momentous war, seven armies have convened to join The White Order. This alliance includes the Elite Guardians of Club Penguin, People’s Imperial Confederation, Penguins of Agartha, Romans, Scarlet Republic, Shadow Legionaries, and Void Troops. Their enemy? The Rebel Penguin Federation, considered one of the most notable armies in the context of the community’s history.

The Reason Behind the War

Unlike most conflicts arising from territorial disputes or broken treaties, the cause is clear for this war, and it is serious: a controversial scandal involving RPF’s staff and leadership. The White Order has stated that this kind of behavior warrants no excuse, tolerance, or ignorance. In their statement, they describe the alleged ‘grooming’ situation as a breach of community safety and trust, which exceeds the typical rivalries of army against army.

Several documents have been released, explaining the situation and why the coalition believes RPF should be held accountable. The accounts claim the leadership’s lack of attention and vigilance toward the matter added to the problem, while mentioning they dismiss concerns of army leaders and others outside RPF. For the White Order, this war is about accountability. They state that RPF’s refusal to hold themselves accountable leaves the larger community unsafe, and they are taking this action to expose the situation.

After the documents were released, Rebel Penguin Federation leaders Link3000 and Gabgeirl released some statements. Their defense post can be accessed here.

Declaration of War

The White Order declared war against the Rebel Penguin Federation today, September 17. Two invasions were organized for September 18, being the Invasion of Cold Front at 4 PM EST and the Invasion of Chinook at 8 PM EST. More battles may come, as tensions arise between the two armies. RPF also scheduled an invasion for tomorrow, the Invasion of Thermal, at 3 PM EST.

The War Declaration

Club Penguin Armies reached out to the White Order leadership to find out their thoughts about this war. Unfortunately, the RPF did not respond to the interview.

Why did you decide to declare war on the Rebel Penguin Federation (RPF), an army with a long and powerful history?

Kazoo, EGCP Leader: RPF’s recent actions are very well known to the community, a group of army leaders got together to discuss a war, and it eventually grew and built more and more. The army’s “prestige” – if it can even be called that doesn’t matter, their actions are morally reprehensible. Justice must be served.

Villa, PIC Leader: You reap what you sow.

ToxicStorm, Romans Leader: it’s not about the name of the army or what history it has. Rome has fallen because of bad decisions and poor quality emperors. The war has been declared because its clear that RPF leadership that influences the entire army is fine with letting shady people in their army and not care about online safety for their troops. This is a battle of ideology and our role is to let the RPF troops know that their leaders are in the wrong and it is time to hold them accountable for letting bad influence take hold in their army and our community as a whole.

Riri, SR Leader in Training: we as an army don’t support or entertain the recent actions of RPF and were invited to join this alliance by some of our allies. Long story short we want to protect our community from any risks other Armies could pose and this way we can also teach our members more about other Armies in CPA

Thunder, SL Leader: SL needed the hype and growth again since we’ve quickly started to get slow attendances, not just that, RPF shouldn’t be defending weirdos in their server while they knew what they were up too if im not assuming.

Ugly, VT Advisor: Fortunately in armies sometimes when action isn’t properly done either by the subject or something that is out of the leagues intervention, then the only proper language armies can use is through war. Frankly this is less about land and map but about sending a message and frankly if I or any other existing leader in today’s age did the same actions they would easily been treated the same and probably even worse. RPF says the situation wasnt brought up to keep the privacy of the individuals, but at the same time only acted on banning the perpetrators after it was brought to the public when it could’ve been done anytime before, instead harboring these individuals and completely violating the victim’s right to safety in the community. RPF has been known to be ambassadors of goodwill and while lapse of judgements could happen, its unfortunate to see what could’ve easily been avoided be turned into something gruesome and still continued to be disregarded.

What is your strategy to defeat the RPF, and how do you plan to handle their larger size and experience?

Kazoo, EGCP Leader: RPF don’t have large size and experience here; we have Army vets on our side, and some of the people who helped make RPF what it is today. We aren’t scared. We will win this war both on the battlefield and off it, by showing the RPF troops their leaders misguided actions, and hopefully allowing them to see the truth.

Villa, PIC Leader: Our team is far more experienced than theirs, having former major army leaders with years of experience.

ToxicStorm, Romans Leader: We will fight, but what’s more important is to send a message through our tactics that we are not okay with such behaviour in this day and age in armies. This is not a war or a fight, this is a protest! Read our tactics and think about their implications, because war is a form of art and ours scream “NO MORE” to RPF and their bad morals.

Riri, SR Leader in Training: RPF are a powerful and large army but we are really proud of how SR as an army have been doing recently, despite being a little dead rn, we are very lucky to have such dedicated and loyal members who can pull through for us when it’s needed, not only that but we won’t be taking on RPF alone, a lot of our allies will be helping out so I don’t really see this being much of a problem

Thunder, SL Leader: Our AUSIA division is preferentially bigger then both out EU and surprisingly we have a US division.

Ugly, VT Advisor: Size would most likely play the biggest factor in this war. RPF are known to be experienced in battles but so are the members on our side, so it’ll come down to who is larger I believe.,

What do you hope to achieve with this war, and what do you believe the Club Penguin army community will look like afterward?

Kazoo, EGCP Leader: We want to topple the cult that is the Rebel Penguin Federation. If successful, one of the oldest, largest armies will finally be put down. CPA will have never seen anything like what we will achieve.

Villa, PIC Leader: This isn’t about some penguin land, it’s about sending a message and having these terrible people ran out of the community.

ToxicStorm, Romans Leader: We hope to raise awareness in armies that don’t usually let their troops interact in our community, so that they wouldn’t spill out the bad things that happen within. We hope this war helps everyone’s voices be heard because we all got your back.

Riri, SR Leader in Training: Well I’m hoping for a win for the White Order and just an overall safer community for everyone here, sometimes we forget that the people in CPA range from ages 13 to like 20 and its scary to think of all the dangerous possibilities but I’m just hoping that we can all just go back to having a fun time and enjoying CPA like we used to safely without all this drama I guess

Thunder, SL Leader: SL’s first ever win in a war, in my view this war will really change the community, as of this interview, TWO raided RPF’s CPJourney event, and CPJ might not like that.

Ugly, VT Advisor: That all leaders should prioritize the safety and experience of troops first and foremost. Anything that happens within reflects back on the army and that is the example we face with the ongoing events.

This dispute did not ignite itself, but affected us all. The White Order is resolute in its restoration of justice, while the RPF is in internal upheaval, attempting to restore its integrity, or what remains of it in the community’s eyes. In times of strife such as this, what matters more: Loyalty to individuals or to do what is right? Who do you think will win this war?
