July and August were among the most defining and luscious periods for Club Penguin Armies in 2025, illustrated by the inauguration of Legends Cup XV and the newly established Summer Blitz tournament, where the Dark Warriors triumphed. Today, we shall explore, in detail, what ultimately led the Dark Warriors to win their first tournament since their new foundation.
THE BLITZ LEGACY
The Summer Blitz tournament was newly established, following the conclusion of Legends Cup XV – in which the Rebel Penguin Federation won for the first time since 2021, after their major defeat in the 2023 Legends Cup. The tournament was designed preferably for the Small/Medium armies registered in the Club Penguin Armies league. The goal of the tournament was to encourage armies to invade as much land as possible. It officially opened on the 16th of August, 2025, followed by a three-day grace period, and the map remained available for invasions until the 30th of August, 2025. Club Penguin Armies had extended their invite to 13 armies, out of which 10 armies had confirmed their attendance in the tournament.
THE DARK WARRIORS TRIUMPH
In the first week of the Summer Blitz, many invasions of freelands took place, including against armies. Notably, the Dark Warriors executed tactical plays throughout the tournament, even though everyone had not expected them to win overall. Notable invasions included Invasion of 57, Invasion of 58, Invasion of 62, Invasion of Doopus Poop House against the Penguins of Agartha, Invasion of 81, Invasion of invade if ur stupid, and last but not least, Invasion of the Bulls Eye against the Romans. They had successfully defended and invaded 15 servers out of the 34 servers on the Summer Blitz continent. The Dark Warriors have always stood with their resilience, and their success eventually paid off, winning their first Small/Medium tournament this year.
Aside from the Dark Warriors, there were many other competitors in the tournament who proved to be strong challengers. Interestingly, the Scarlet Republic, Romans, and Penguins of Agartha held 7, 6, and 4 servers respectively. Moreover, this was the only Small/Medium tournament of the year; as a result, the competition became even more intense, since every army had a chance to prove their strength and tactics on the map. In addition, over the past three consecutive months, Club Penguin Armies prospered significantly, because no one had ever introduced such a conceptualization before. Furthermore, this unique period highlighted the creativity and strategic planning of all participating armies.
Club Penguin Armies reached out to Justin regarding the Dark Warriors’ significant victory in the tournament.
I. The Dark Warriors were seen as underdogs. How did the Dark Warriors prepare for the Summer Blitz, and what kept the team motivated to aim for their first tournament win?
Joining the Summer Blitz, we were the dark horses but that spurred us on. We knew we had to work harder and think harder than our opponents. Practice was not just about tactics it was about building unity. We kept having regular practice sessions, worked on our formations, and practiced perfecting our speed and precision. Our leaders stayed awake, our troops stayed alert, and we made sure everyone knew what they had to do. We still have lots of work to do but what truly motivated us was our heritage DW has a legacy of greatness, and we wanted to add another page. That need to bring glory back to the Dark Warriors is what pushed us to success
II. Winning your first Small/Medium tournament is historic, how does this triumph feel?
This victory feels amazing, no doubt but don’t get it twisted, it’s just the beginning. Winning our first Small/Medium tournament is a huge moment, but we’re not stopping here. The Dark Warriors didn’t come this far to settle for small wins. We’re eyeing the big leagues now. Major tournaments, take notes that we’re coming for you, and we’re not backing down. This is just the warm-up, the start of our incoming prime. Get ready, because the real storm is coming.
III. What are the Dark Warriors’ next steps after this historic victory, and how do you plan to build on this success?
The Dark Warriors are a faultless example of how a Small/Medium army should establish themselves in the community and accelerate their relevance in the league. The current leadership of the Dark Warriors has paved the way for an affluence period. Their phenomenal performance in the tournament has fortified their position as a top S/M contender. Could the Dark Warriors maybe overpower other armies in future major tournaments?
