The final battles of the Around The World Cup II tournament took place on June 7. Despite many armies taking part in the tournament, only two major and two small/medium armies qualified for the Grand Finals. Both battles occurred an hour apart, with the Scarlet Republic and the Templars fighting first, followed by the Aliens and the Army of Club Penguin.

Scarlet Republic VS. Templars

Room 1 began with the Templars entering first, forming an X with SR following, making a neat V. Despite TCP’s 4 penguin size advantage, SR’s forms looked more complete and quicker, resulting in SR taking the room victory. Room 2 had both armies enter at the same time, with SR forming a T and TCP an anchor. TCP maintained its size advantage but had messier forms, and with both armies slowing down towards the end, it resulted in a room 2 tie. Room 3 saw TCP enter first and form an upside-down Y with SR following, making an angle form. Both armies started off messy, but TCP improved their pacing, making a plus form that showed off their size nicely, resulting in a room 3 TCP victory. The overtime room had TCP enter first, maintaining their size advantage with sizes being 15-9 at the start. TCP throughout the room moved well and used stronger formations that showed off their size, while SR struggled to counter. With better formations, better pace, and full use of their size advantage, TCP secured the overall win.

TCP VS. SR – Cove

Winner: Templars

Aliens VS. Army of Club Penguin

Room 1 saw both armies enter at the same time, creating equally neat and creative formations. With both armies being the same color, their tactics blended, making it hard to tell them apart, resulting in a tie. Afterwards, the battle took a 2-minute break for ACP to change uniforms, and the next room began. Room 2 saw ACP enter first, making an underlined plus as Aliens formed a triangle. Both armies held strong formations and used their size well, with the Aliens, although slightly hesitant at times, still managing to keep up, resulting in another tie. Room 3 began with ACP entering first and forming a triangle while the Aliens made a backwards L. Throughout the room, ACP’s forms were clearer and faster, but were not dominant enough to secure them the win, resulting in another tie. In the overtime room, the Aliens entered first, taking control, having more coverage, and quickly took control of the battle. Through the final room, the Aliens forms were neater and more dominant, while ACP slowed down and lost pace. With better size usage, cleaner formations, and stronger presence, Aliens won the overtime room and the battle overall.

Aliens VS. ACP – Iceberg

Winner: Aliens

As the Around the World Cup comes to a thrilling conclusion, the final battles that followed were nothing short of exciting. With the Aliens taking home their first trophy and the Templars securing another win for their collection, we at Club Penguin Armies would like to thank all participating armies and congratulate both Aliens and TCP on their tournament victories! Were these results what you were expecting? Who do you think will take the crown in the next installment of this tournament?
