Pontian Warriors Shut Down

Days after inducting a new leadership, the Pontian Warriors have officially announced their closure, putting an end to their run. In this post, we will go over their history, and their recent changes before their doors were shut.

ARMY HISTORY

The Pontian Warriors opened their doors on July 22, 2026, originally as a Shadow Legionnaires colony. The army was founded by Nameless and Xusi, with their opening event taking place with a total of 7 penguins. Within their time of opening, the Warriors were hosting constant events, and landed a spot on the Top Ten during their first week.

CHANGES WITHIN LEADERSHIP

On September 10, Xusi announced her retirement from the Pontian Warriors, passing the torch down to Yotagy, who would lead alongside Nameless. Not long after Xusi’s announcement, she was banned publicly in their announcement channels. It is unknown if the ban had more reason to it than something behind the scenes, or more of a joke between the two.

THE SHUTDOWN

However, only four days after the leadership changes, newly-inducted army leader Yotagy would make a shocking announcement for the Warriors, ceasing all operations at that point until October. The reasoning behind the induction as posted clarified that both Yotagy and Nameless were busy at the time.

Club Penguin Armies sat down with Yotagy to learn more about the shut down.

What led to the Pontian Warriors’ sudden closure?

It was during the time when school started for me, i said i wanted to lead the army for a long time, but man did i underestimate my school. they gave me a shit ton of work like never before, Nameless was also busy, then FV clapped our ahh and got our land so we decided to take a break

Could we see a return for the Pontian Warriors?

yes, its most likely to come back, i did say it will reopen in October, but it might get delayed a bit more

Any last comments to the community?

Xusi sucks

With the conclusion of the interview, we can expect to see the Pontian Warriors return soon to the community once both leaders find time to lead. With their likely return coming this month, or any of the following months, the community will surely be ready to welcome them back with open arms. What are your thoughts? Will the Pontian Warriors make a return to the community?
