Five months after their last shutdown, the Boxmen of Boxland have returned to the army community once more. Today we will take a look at their recent activities as they reopen their doors once more.

The Boxmen Before
The Boxmen of Boxland was founded by PingoBoiii on July 3, 2025. Soon after opening, the Boxmen found themselves declaring war against the Rebel Penguin Federation. Unfortunately, the Boxmen failed in battle, and they faced a force treaty the next day. PingoBoiii is known to have been in the army community since 2021, with experience in multiple armies including the RPF, the Water Vikings, and the Penguins of Madagascar.

However, their first generation, too, was short-lived and lacked prosperity. Two weeks into their opening, the Boxmen announced their closure on July 12. The army held its last event back then, and they reached 4 penguins online. When PingoBoiii was asked if the army would return in the future, he quoted, “maybe, maybe not.”

A year later, PingoBoiii returned and announced the army’s reopening on April 9, 2026. However, the comeback lasted only two days. As a result, this generation was also deemed unsuccessful.

The Boxmen Now
On September 8, 2026, the Boxmen returned once more to the army community, immediately declaring war against the Cult of Tung. They reached 6 penguins at their opening event, and later hosted a few follow-up events after their reopening.

Based on PingoBoiii’s responses, it is clear that the Boxmen are returning to the community simply for the fun of it. There is no telling whether the army will stick around for longer in its new generation. Through war, the Boxmen have created some interesting moments for the army community’s onlookers. How long do you feel the Boxmen’s current generation will last? Are you interested in another war in the small/medium army community?
