The Boxmen of Boxland have unwrapped itself once again. In this post, we will explore why the army has returned and what the leaders want to achieve.

Boxmen of Boxland was created as an April Fools’ prank in 2023, but soon grew into a strong army on July 3, 2025, when Pingo officially launched the army. Despite early speculation due to Pingo’s ties to the Water Vikings, BoB established themselves as an independent army and formed alliances with armies like the Army of Yoni773, Romans, and the Portal Hoppers of Club Penguin. Their opening event had a max of 11 troops, and their early momentum placing them on the Top Ten board.
On July 8, the Boxmen declared war on the Rebel Penguin Federation, a bold move that quickly backfired. RPF responded with a counterattack, invading the Boxmen’s server, Fiesta. The 56-to-1 advantage led to a swift victory for RPF, forcing the Boxmen into a treaty and ending the conflict quickly. Just days later, on July 12, the Boxmen held their final event and officially shut down.

Recently, the Boxmen of Boxland attempted a revival in an effort to reignite their momentum, but the comeback was short-lived. Despite the initial intent to rebuild and make an impact once again, the army quickly shut down under the decision of their founder, Pingo, bringing their brief return to an abrupt end.

It seemed as if the army had been quite excited to begin a new chapter. However, given the shutdown, the reopening of BoB will be later on, perhaps even making a comeback. What do you think? What will they do in the future?
