Welcome back to Behind the Scenes, the column dedicated to the day-to-day life of members of the community. In this post, we take a look at the life of PingoBoiii, a well-known reporter, cartoonist, and Top Ten Committee Member.

REFRESHMENT

PingoBoiii joined the army community around October 2021 after being recruited into the Rebel Penguin Federation gaming server, R.F. He was banned two months later and joined the Water Vikings. WV became the main part of his army career. He also spent time in Penguins of Madagascar, Help Force, Secret Service, and Doritos between 2023 and 2025. He reached HCOM in most of these armies and currently serves as a Third-In-Command in WV.

A JOURNEY THROUGH CPA

In 2023, Pingo joined the Penguins of Madagascar and quickly became part of their leadership. Only nine days later, he became a Commander and helped the army through several wars and events. Furthermore, his time in POM ended in April 2024 after he and Ryebread were banned following an internal dispute. He later moved through Help Force, Secret Service, and Doritos while staying active in CPA. He also created the Boxmen of Boxland in 2025 as a side army based around an old Boxman joke from an experience in a SWAT. The army opened on July 3 and reached a max of 11 at its first event.

Outside of leading armies, Pingo became known for his work as a Club Penguin Armies reporter and artist. He has written several satire posts and made artwork for CPA. His work includes thumbnails, comics, and propaganda for events such as Operation Winterstorm and the CPA Olympics.

Over the years, Pingo has taken on plenty of different roles around the community. From leading armies to creating Boxmen of Boxland and working on CPA’s creative side, he has stayed involved in many ways. He continues to serve in WV today, making his army career one that has covered quite a few parts of CPA.

Club Penguin Armies embraced the chance to interview PingoBoiii and learn more about who he is behind the scenes.

What hobbies do you have outside of Club Penguin Armies?

I play sports, football goalkepper to be specific, pretty fun throwing yourself to the ground to catch BALLS

What made you decide to work as a reporter and a cartoonist?

You should specify as a satire reporter cause basically all i do is make fun of people in both mediums, thats why

Why did you select PingoBoiii as your name?

Got bored making my CPR account so i wrote Pingu, changed it to Pingo in name of Pingo Doce, the greatest portuguese store of them all, and added Boy, but that was taken so i made it Boiii so it would work (PingoBoiii)

Which show or film is your favorite?

my name is Pingo, i go around with a pfp of a stop motion penguin, and spend my time playing penguin games… Wallace and Gromit of cours-

What are your objectives for this year, both personally and in the community? How many have you completed thus far?

I hope to get WV and Boxmen of Boxland to a title. Ive ended up at HCOM ranks in most of the armies ive been, built a community of people that are pretty cool and managed to entertain alot of autism in the way.

Looking back, PingoBoiii has had a pretty eventful time in CPA, from moving between armies to getting involved in reporting and art. Whether it was leading POM, creating Boxmen of Boxland, or making his usual satire and artwork, he has definitely left his mark on the community. With Pingo still active in WV and around CPA, it’ll be interesting to see what he gets up to next. Which community member do you believe could be featured in the next edition of Behind The Scenes?
