As midsummer draws near and we see the conclusion of Legends Cup XVI, the administration is excited to announce the second-ever CPA summit, nearly a year after the first one.

Around this time last year, Club Penguin Armies held its very first Mapping the Map summit. This allowed community members to voice their issues with the map and the lack of activity within the community, and gave them a role in changing the map rules. Following last year’s success, the aim is to hold another summit, this time to discuss CPPS etiquette and other pressing matters within the community. The summit’s format will be similar to last year’s, though the topics discussed will be different.
Topics of Discussion
1: CPPS ÉTIQUETTE
As stated before, one of the main topics of this summit will revolve around CPPS etiquette and behaviour on Club Penguin Private Servers, primarily the most utilized one in the community, Club Penguin Journey. Following various conflicts in the game that have raised concerns about armies as a whole on the platform, one of the main points to be discussed is the standards of army engagement, primarily on CPJ (including raids and patrols), and how this may affect future conflict on CPPS.
2: Army Culture as A Whole
Over the past few months, questions have been raised about the community and the inactivity of armies on the map. A primary complaint of the community is the lack of activity on the map and within various armies. Another main discussion point of this summit will be the need for the map and the current state of armies/army culture. Discussions will be held on how armies function and how to handle issues within the community.
3: Proposal Channel
Similar to last year’s summit, any additional discussion points will be able to be suggested by community members in a forum channel; topics will then be looked at and made possible discussion points in future sessions.

The first session of the 2026 Summit will take place on August 16, with a new session occurring weekly / biweekly.

As we dawn across a new time for armies, the second half of 2026, and as we reach the twentieth anniversary of armies, we hope that this Summit serves as a new baseline for where the community stands on various topics, and so a baseline of the community can be reached.
New beginnings are soon to come for the community as we approach the middle of August. The best is yet to come!
