In order to select a new co-leader to lead alongside Chessguy, the newly established army, Frostfang Serpents, also organized a competition. Kmart took part in this challenge as well, and he was able to secure his place in the army as a co-leader.

About the Leaders
Chessguy is the creator and primary leader of Frostfang Serpents, with Kmart acting as a co-leader. Chessguy joined the army community on March 24, 2026, when he was recruited into the Templars. He rapidly gained an understanding of the army community and advanced to the position of Standard Bearer within the Templars. Kmart, on the other hand, has been a part of the community for a long time. On April 14, 2024, he was recruited into the Water Vikings, where he served for two years until joining the Templars of Club Penguin and rapidly advancing to the rank of Lieutenant. After serving for a year, he joined the Businessmen of CP as a Leader-in-Training, but he was removed from the army. He then started Imposters of CP, which was recently placed on hiatus.

Why did you decide to start your army?
I decided to start my army..because one single person…jemma ( current leader of templars ) , she inspired me alot to start my own army, the qualities of jemma that made me start my own army was her leadership, kindness and sportsmanship, she never scolded no one once, this inspired me alot
Where did you come up with the idea to give your army such a name?
Since everyone had cool names like Dark Warriors or Fire Vikings, i wanted to think outside the box..an element no one had thought about, Ice. and frost is a quality of ice and i’m a fan of snakes, so hence the names The Frostfang Serpents.
What aspirations do you have for your army?
My Main goal, is to come to the top ten, the same list ACP, or TCP are in. I don’t want my army to the best, i dont want clout, what i want, what we want! is to be an example, a role model to other club penguin army aspirants, to think “I should design and lead my army like The Frostfang Serpents of Club Penguin.”
You formed two alliances prior to opening, but one broke apart, and the other army had to shut down. Do you intend to form new alliances anytime soon?
I do intend to form new alliances, with other armies.
Given that all of the new armies have recently either shut down or gone on hiatus, do you believe the army will last long enough? If so, how will you make long-term plans?
I do believe my army will last long. If i have to make long term plans, i would let my army live until my last breath.
Do you have anything you’d like to share with others who want to start an army?
In the time, of my army living, as i mentioned in the third question is to be a role model to other small armies.
Chessguy appears to be very optimistic about the future of his army, and he also considered changing the name of the army. The true question now is whether the outcome of this Small/Medium army will differ from that of other newly established armies or if it will be the same. What do you think? Can Chessguy turn this army into a blueprint for other armies? Will the fate of this army be different?
