Background

Zez is a long-standing member of the Templars and the broader Club Penguin army community. He first made his mark as the leader of the Phantom Republic, where he gained firsthand experience in warfare, commanding his army against the Rebel Alliance Commando. Despite PRCP’s loss in that conflict, the experience laid the foundation for Zez’s future in army leadership.

Zez later joined the Templars, quickly becoming one of its most active and integral members. His dedication and commitment to the army did not go unnoticed. On October 11, 2025, Zez and fellow TCP member Borapenguins were both promoted to the rank of Grand Prior — the highest leadership rank within the Templars. This promotion came at a critical time for the army, as TCP had been struggling to maintain its Major status and was looking to rebuild under new leadership. During his time in leadership, TCP managed to regain stability and remain competitive within the major army scene.

Following his promotion to Grand Prior, Zez set out with a clear vision: to make the Templars stronger week by week and return the army to Major status. Despite the challenges inherited from previous leadership, Zez and Borapenguins worked to stabilise and grow TCP. Under his tenure, the Templars continued to engage in wars and conflicts, including the former war against the Water Vikings, a rivalry that has defined much of TCP’s recent history.

sudden departure and conclusion

In the midst of the Templars’ war against the Water Vikings, it was revealed that Zez had quietly stepped down from his leadership position. The reasons behind his sudden departure – and why it was kept so mysterious – remain unclear. Club Penguin Armies reached out to Zez for a statement regarding the situation, but he declined to comment at this time. However, he did hint at the possibility of a return in the near future.

Whether this departure proves to be only temporary or the beginning of a larger shift within the Templars remains uncertain. With the war against the Water Vikings only recently concluded and a new conflict against the Army of Club Penguin already underway, the pressure now falls on the remaining leadership to keep morale high and maintain the army’s momentum. At the same time, Zez’s hint toward a possible return leaves the door open for speculation across the community. For now, one thing is certain: Zez’s leadership marked a defining chapter in recent Templars history.
