The final two days of Operation: Winter Storm were jampacked with heated rivalry. Club Penguin Armies announced Operation: Winter Storm slightly more than a week ago. Today, we will recap the battles, invasions, and events that happened on the seventh and eighth days of this tournament, January 30 and 31.

Club Penguin Armies introduced a new tourney, Operation: Winter Storm, to beta test its new map. Players are divided into four teams, Red, Blue, Green, and Black, all fighting for land, aiming to have the most by Sunday. Since the last time we checked in on this tournament, all free land has been taken, and intense battles had taken place as of day 7. Some rivalries have formed, as well as some alliances.
This post provides summaries of each battle and updates on newly declared invasions.
Day 7
Red Vs Black
Red scheduled one invasion against black on Day 7, however only one had taken place at 7:50 am ET. Because Black did not participate once again in the invasion, Red successfully invaded Rainbow. A bit later, the Black team lost the tournament.

Green Vs Blue
Green had two invasions against blue, one at 4:10 pm EST, one at 6:00 pm EST. They had successfully invaded both lands, Deep Freeze and Fog, as Blue did not show up to defend.

Blue also invaded Green, with the battle being held at 8:21 am EST. Blue had initiated an attack on Green, however Green successfully defended Permafrost. They managed to max more than Blue and were superior throughout the whole battle, winning both rooms. Also, they had neat formations and good consistency, which helped them cover the enemies more.

There were 2 scheduled battles between the two Teams, the first at 6 pm ET and the latter at 8:05 pm EST. In the first one, Blue did not attend, with Red successfully invading Tuxedo.

The latter invasion resulted in a successful one for Blue and allowed them to gain Frostbite. They managed to keep a higher size compared to Red for the whole battle. It began with them having a double size, but eventually the Reds caught them up with the sizes being 11-10 in the Blues’ favor. The Blue Team had a better performance, though, which led them to win the battle.

Day 8
The last day of the tournament, Saturday, began with two teams trying to strike a deal. Red and Green tried to end the tourney with the same amount of land, but this did not end up working out. Both of them had teamed up against Blue by now, scheduling invasions at the same time, and at a time the Blue Team members were busy.

The first battle took place in Marshmallow with the Reds invading the Blues. They ended up successfully invading as Blue did not show up.
After that, there was the battle of the Migrator, with both teams showing up to that. It was one of the closest battles, with the first room being tied and the second one being won by Team Blue. The teams had a similar size, around 12, and both performed well, alternating in dominance in room 1, which ended up being tied. In the second room, the sizes remained the same, but Blue was more consistent with forms, pace, and coverage, which earned them the win.

About an hour later, another battle followed. This time it was Ascent being invaded. Eventually, Team Blue ended up winning both rooms against Team Red.
This was followed by the final battle between the two, the invasion of Parka, in which the Blue Team won after the Red one did not show up.
At some point, there was confusion, with the Red Team nuking its own land instead of sending the nukes to the Blue Team’s territory.

Blue vS Green
Both battles were reviewed, with the verdict being sent a few hours after they had taken place. In the first battle, the invasion of Yukon, the Green Team won after the Blue one did not show up.
In the invasion of Glaciar, the Green Team won. It was not an easy win, though, as the Blue Team managed to tie the second room.
And that sums up the invasions that took place till the end of the tournament. Aside from the battles, several servers got bombed and nuked, with all teams apart from Green going all out. The final map looks like this:

After an ecstatic week, Operation: Winterstorm is finally over. With 10s of invasions taking place, it has been a busy week. The Green Team can now celebrate their win against the other teams.
