Recently, we were introduced to the newest legends in the community. To gain a more elaborate point of view, we decided to ask some community members to share their opinions on this year’s winners.

2025 Legend PROCESS
As 2025 drew to a close, the Legends Committee selected the leaders worthy of nomination. The following armies were involved in the selection of the leaders: Help Force, Rebel Penguin Federation, Doritos of Club Penguin, Army of Club Penguin, Aliens of Club Penguin, Water Vikings, Void Troops, Dark Warriors, Romans of Club Penguin, Templars of Club Penguin, Scarlet Republic, and Shadow Legionaries. The Legends Committee had been given about four days to submit its ballots. The committee members then voted ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on the nominees. Afterwards, the Committee Heads, DMT, and Iceyfeet1234 counted and confirmed the votes. Results were published on January 10 and announced that Coolguy, in addition to Logical, had been selected as this year’s winners.

Coolguy
Coolguy started his journey officially in the summer of 2012. He had joined the United Countries of Club Penguin whilst looking for cheats in Club Penguin. Despite this, he eventually showed interest in armies. Coolguy was able to reach a leadership position in October 2012. Under his leadership, UCCP was featured on the Club Penguin Army Central Top Ten in 2012. His first war was an outstanding victory against the Global Defenders in November 2012. Unfortunately, good times came to a sad end, and UGCP closed. Further on through his career, he dedicated his time to multiple armies like Ice Warriors, DCP, and TCP.

Calgo announced AustinFraud and Coolguy’s leadership in 2023. ACP was able to win the Legends Cup XIII trophy, the Trick or Treat Trials trophy, and lastly, the 2024 New Year Bonanza trophy. Coolguy retired from ACP leadership on February 24th after his dedicated loyalty and tactical skills in making ACP the way it is today.

Furthermore, he had quite the legacy in Club Penguin Armies itself, being promoted to Editor-in-Chief. His reporting skills had been a rollercoaster, but he eventually reached the peak of his skills. However, he eventually retired as Admin on June 15, 2025, marking the end of the famously known era “Cooldom” Administration.

Logical
In the beginning, he had started his army career in 2022, when he had enlisted in the Secret Service, though this was quite short as it had to shut down. Shortly after, he spent some time in the Templars before eventually enlisting in SWAT, where he rose to become a leader. After he resigned from SWAT, he co-founded the Penguins of Madagascar with Ryebread, but POM eventually failed, causing a divide between them. Logical led the Secret Service, after the army returned, and merged with the Doritos. He led the Doritos until his resignation in February, after which he finally joined the formation of VT. Logical has been leading VT since its creation, along with Kyle104. VT achieved major status in just two months, consistently averaging about 20–25 troops and peaking at #5 on the Top Ten multiple times. Under Logical’s leadership, the Void Troops secured an eight-war win streak, including dominant victories over former major armies DCP (12–0) and the Templars (15–1). His consistent challenges against established forces highlight his skills in commanding his army to victory.

Club Penguin Armies has reached out to several community members for their reactions to the results of Legends Inductions 2025.
Xing, Templars Creator: I frankly thought that nobody really deserved legend. Looking over everyone’s resume, they did okay in their army careers. The only person really worthy of winning a nomination was BestPenguin for his work on aliens, but the criteria for a major army legend must be much harsher. About the S/M legend, I think Coolguy was the most worthy of the bunch. He’s had a long-lasting effect in many armies, such as ACP and SWAT, now Dark Warriors. Nonetheless, the nominees don’t hold up to the scrutiny that I have for such things. If you look at the list for Major and S/M legends, it’s rather clear that many nominees don’t even clear the bar of those who have won the award. Nonetheless, I don’t think that there will be someone who will ever be worthy of either award for some time unless they arise soon. I have a thought of who it may be, I digress. Scrutiny and standards for both categories of legend must be held to the utmost highest standard, and I feel as if that was a small shortcoming with the legends board with this recent induction cycle.
FWAPO, Special Weapons And Tactics Leader: Well deserved to those who were able to get the title. Its important to notice the hard work and dedication that went into it, and for those who didn’t win it I’am assured they will soon. As we have noticed, such as BP, Diwix, and Gabe girl are one of those who deserve to be noticed and I’am hoping they will be the ones for next time. Anyways congrats to everyone who one ESP CG the reason of my existence and pookie <33
Kyle, OpEd Contributor: Well deserved for both lads, felt they’ve done well across the community and their armies the last few years. Was very surprised at no major legend though, I at least expected BP or another RPF folk to get it
IceQueen, Dark Warriors Advisory: Tbh idrc about army legend inductions. I believe receiving HOF within your own army is a true reflection of the dedication and contributions of the individual. I am happy for Coolguy tho, that was well-deserved, he has been a figure-head in the community for several years now.
Runa, Help Force HCOM: Super proud of those inducted! I wish the best of luck to those who weren’t selected for the next round of inductees.
Ams, Aliens Leader since this was my first year in armies community, i dont really know what to say, tho, i was pretty surprised to not see any major getting legends,
the s/m community did amazing all year through, so congrats CoolGuy and Logical again on the Legend induction!Tulip, Rebel Penguin Federation Veteran: I was honestly expecting another nomination, but I’m very glad for the people who were inducted this year. Congratulations to Coolguy and Logical! 🙂
Raven, Kanye West Army Leader: Overall I do feel like legends inductions this year were fair, as someone who has hated Logical from the first time we met, I do feel like his contribution to this community and the impact he had is something that can not go unrecognised, while obviously not major legend worthy I do believe that he is someone that is a person that defined the community in the past year or so. Obviously, there have been controversies recently and not so recently, what’s true and what is just made up in unknown to me right now so i will be leaving out the morality of him in this answer. The other legend, coolguy, well, I don’t know him too well, he has been around for a long time, so I assume this legend nomination is rather based on his long-term contribution both to the bigger community and the armies he had server in. I would assume he was also someone worthy of legend, while in the past one year i didnt feel that his presence was as strong as logical’s. He has been around for a long time and was even cpa ceo. ON THE OTHER SIDE, there are two people who I do believe should have probably gotten legend, them being BestPenguin and Cobra, and take what I say with a grain of salt because I consider(/at one time had considered) both of them close friends of mine. BestPenguin, the person who is responsible for the success of one of the most successful armies of this era. He built up this army mostly himself, while obviously his team did a lot of work also, without the skills BP has, aliens wouldn’t be constantly in the top 3-4 on the TT and wouldn’t have gotten so good maxes in tournaments. Aliens have been a dominant force for over a year now, with essentially no veteran base from former generations. It also should be noted for BP’s case that aliens did an amazing run before the closure of the original generation, right until they got betrayed by another army that innevitable lead to its fall.
For Cobra, I can only comment on his contributions towards WV because I was simply not around for his other works in the community, but Cobra is one of, if not the best, WV has had in the past few years. I do believe that his WV may have been the only army recently that had a real big chance of beating RPF both in maxes on TT and tournament-wise.
While I have this opinion, im sure the committee had great reasons not to nominate these two people, which I can respect, and I believe everyone else should respect these decisions, whether they like it or not. Fear the Wave!
And with that, the community definitely had mixed reactions to the results of Legends of 2025. Congratulations to the winners! What was your reaction to this year’s winners? What are your hopes for the future drawings of Legends of 2026? Who do you think will take home the title?
