After cementing themselves as a well known small-medium army over the past year, Ninjaleader has decided to close down the Dark Pirates once more. This decision followed a devasting defeat in the War of Tailwind.

Following a string of attempts to create a successful army, Ninjaleader hit gold when creating the Dark Pirates. Inspired by the successful Pirates army, Dark Pirates were created on April 10, 2023, with the help of Tide. The army would almost immediately be mixed into an ongoing conflict against Dark Vikings.
The beginning of a new chapter
Despite being labeled as a small-medium army to watch, their efforts would not last long. In August 2023, Dark Pirates merged into Special Weapons and Tactics. At the time, this came as a surprise as the Pirates had just attempted to declare war on Penguins of Madagascar. In the end, Ninjaleader credited the Pirates’ journey as one that gave him a lot of experience in leading armies.
On March 16, 2024, Dark Pirates would set sail for adventure once again. Prior to this, Ninjaleader had been jumping around to armies, gaining more precious experience. It culminated in a stronger Dark Pirates. The army was even able to celebrate their first anniversary. However, trouble would soon start brewing as they ended up in a war against the Winged Hussars. Unfortunately, their dismal performance in the war seems to have led to their shut down. Once again, Ninjaleader chose to merge his army: this time into the newly-returned Secret Service.

Club Penguin Armies reached out to Ninjaleader to gain more insight about his plans. This interview was conducted by Toxic Storm.
What are your best memories in Dark Pirates?
All of the memories are my favorite memories, but the finest memories of the second generation consist of spending time with my mateys and making Dark Pirates a successful and enjoyable army. [Additionally,] leading with Shrekks [who] was my favorite remembrance.
Will this experience carry over to the next army?
Yes, I will give the Secret Service my all in an effort to build a strong and prosperous army. I will also make a concerted effort to pick up new skills from my fellow agents.
Why did you merge into Secret Service?
I joined the Secret Service as a result of various concerns and problems in my actual life. The fact that a lot of army veterans and legends have joined the Secret Service was another factor in my decision, and I think it will be a fantastic and successful army.
Is there a revival in the future?
I hope we will revive in the future and make our way into the army community.
Although it may seem like he is jumping on the bandwagon, Ninjaleader is dedicated to making the Secret Service a great army. However, the return of the Dark Pirates seem all but imminent. Do you think the Dark Pirates were one of the most successful small-medium armies in the past year?
