Club Penguin Armies Presents March Madness IX

The madness of March has begun to seep in. In a week’s time, Club Penguin Armies is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting March Madness IX.

Designed by Master DS

March Madness has found its way in becoming one of the community’s staple tournaments. 2024 marks the ninth rendition of this popular tournament. It will be one to remember as Club Penguin Armies reintroduces double elimination tournaments to the community.

March Madness IX

Following the Qualifiers, if an army loses a battle in March Madness IX, they will drop down into the Loser’s Bracket. The winner of the Loser’s Bracket will join the Winner’s Bracket champion in the Grand Finals. A tournament that has become notorious for controversy, March Madness IX will truly live up to the “madness.”

Therefore, due to the nature of a double elimination bracket, the tournament will last longer than normal: concluding with a Grand Finals battle on April 20. Additionally, armies should be prepared for battles to occur over Easter weekend; we apologize for any inconvenience. The following armies are welcomed to participate, with the sign-ups concluding on Thursday, February 29 at midnight EST. If you’re an army leader, please confirm your participation in the direct messages with an administrator.

  • Army of Club Penguin
  • Elite Guardians
  • Help Force
  • Penguins of Madagascar
  • People’s Imperial Confederation
  • Rebel Penguin Federation
  • Special Weapons and Tactics
  • Templars
  • Water Vikings
  • Winged Hussars

Further information and rules regarding the tournament will be announced alongside the seedings next weekend on Saturday, March 2.

A big thank you to all of the judges who make this possible at Club Penguin Army Judges. Their continue support means everything to us, especially considering that a double elimination will require double the amount of judges. Thank you to Master DS for committing to working on the graphics for March Madness IX, as well. Will this year continue the streak of March controversies?

Get rid of the double eliminations. It sounds ridiculous and stupid! I prefer single eliminations like for example during Christmas Chaos that was more easier for people to understand than double eliminations
